Spent the day re-designing and re-coding the Trust Merchant to fit in with the new item types and profession items for the server. also added the ability to filter items for certain classes.

finally finished it..

Looks very clean, not a fan of them gold piles next to the Number amounts though, each to their own.

im scrapping the upscaling, imo its not worth the time vs the rewrd.

I can imagine some reasons it could be useful to upscale images in certain situations like if you were making some boss mobs appear larger on screen but I'm kinda glad you are scrapping this as personally I prefer the more pixel graphics of the originals and the upscaled images seem to look a bit too smoothed out for me

I wouldn't rule it out totally though...

because i was worried about the potential for exploiting the ClassIngnias by saying you had things in them that you didnt... as it was only possible to view an insignia by wearing one... which created so many possibilities to con someone, especially as you can sell them on the TM..

so i spent a few hours working on getting the information into the description, just a hover over the item will now show you whats in it and what colour the beastsouls are.

this should now stop people potentially conning people.

Good Idea, it will mitigate people being conned.

Some people will still get conned even if you yelled at them "HE'S CONNING YOU!"

I have edited the HP bars and also now added options for player to turn off various other HP bars.

You can see your own HP at all times if required and you will now also see other players HP bars so you can see what hp they are on, great for a bit of ganking if you so desire....

Also over the past week i have been stripping out my client and reducing its size, i have also edited the libeditor to create my own type of libs for the client and hopefully make the client run abit smoother.. possibly...

i normally use an FPS cap because there in no need to be running this client over 30 fps tbh... but uncapped i get about 2k.. so i spawned 100 RedFoxMan, 100 WhiteFoxMan and 100 OmaKing and let them go to town on me.. fps didnt drop below 200

I read up to the part where you said you would put cooldowns on guild wars if people kept repeatedly warring.. after that I didn't see the point reading more. Screams carebear GM

Sorry for being harsh on that btw. Server looks awesome with some cool features. But ur attitude towards pk is carebear to most people. And cooldowns on guild wars would be a terrible idea. If you scroll back it was actually you that suggested you would do it. Cba to find which page though.

it was suggested as a possible attempt to limit the stupid idea i had of pk protection which i spent abit of time putting in, only to realise it was a mistake by me. tbh you should have read more, te whole pk protection is scrapped, its certainly not carebear, was aimed at protecting noobs but created more grief for players than it did for protecting them.

ive removed pk points and red body drops, so atm, there is no punishment for pk... its about as far from carebare as i can get :)

but ive been out most of the evening and have concocked a plan for a feature i really want to implement, if i do, imo it will be amazing... but im biased :P

Should do something like the MU Online "Hero" thing where if you kill someone red you get a little bonus, i've always liked that idea but it could be abused easily. Maybe when you're red have a debuff of exp. I'm sure other games have had some sort of hero system too it's just the one that comes to mind.

Maybe 1 killed red person 5% exp for 30 minutes or something i'm not sure if this is even a good idea just throwing something out there, then if you die while red could do like -5% xp per death?
