truth be told i only liked leosiggy2, the rest were horrible, the text went with none of them, leosiggy2 i liked the effect used thats bout it and the text wern't too bad,
the rest same style was used but in a random way, spend more time dont just dabble the effects and hope for the best.
5/10 for leosiggy2 lol ^^
There not much better either like i said check jealys design resources the forum in those design resouces is packed with loads of useful stuff like renders brushes c4d's and loads of really good tutorials
You should choose your render first and then you should create your background with colors to suit your render then put your render into the picture on a new layer after that and then you should add anything extra e.g scan lines or some smudging and then after that you should add the right text to the image and dont make it absolutely massive like you have done in the past
I like that style, its simple and nice perhaps you should attempt some renders aswell like muffinpie suggested, also if your adding text to it, be careful what you choose, dont make it too big, get the right style and the right colour
Okay Okay, this one is very simple but nice i reckon hehe well, here it is
What you need to do is focus more on the render.
Their style, colours, and so on.
If the render looks rough, have a sharpened, jagged background. If it's calm (or femenin) have the background show this.
Look at colours in the render, even if they're only minor and use one or more of these in the background (DO NOT USE THE EXACT SAME COLOUR AS THE RENDER).
If you want a calm background, use brighter colours and have a smooth design. If you want a bit of variety, make a new layer set to overlay, and use rougher brushes in a bright colour (I suggest white).
If you want a rough background, use darker colours, if you want to, use some brushes, but not too much, have different colours, which do not contrast a lot.
Lastly (this is what I think personally);
Do not use a single colour for the whole background.
Use similar brushes so it looks like a real piece of work.
If you want to use grunge or rough brushes, don't overuse them.
By all means, add a bit of contrast, but never have the render one colour, and the background totally different.
Hope that helps a bit and is not just a load of crap - just kept typing :P.
Right, this is my latest one, hope you all like. Please post your comments
