Well so far iv had;

Business Studies exam i had in january - pretty easy, got a B

IT Exam Today (Foundation for some reason even though i blatently asked for higher :cray:) - too easy, id be unhappy if i got one question wrong. Bad thing is, top i can get is a c with it being foundation :(

Im starting to believe these GCSE's are alot easier than expected although everyones already told me their really easy anyway. But i do believe it depends on the subject and how good you are at it i guess. (well obviously)

I really did expect them being harder than this though, some of the questions on the IT exam were stupidy insane.

Last Question;

Long Periods of times using a computer screen can cause: (pick one of the following)

A Virus
Tierd Eyes (or sumin to do with your eyes)
Loss Of Data
Corrupt files or sumin.

I mean i know its foundation, but come on. A moron could of answered that with ease!

Tuesday i have my english literature i think. Mocks i got a C in it so im pretty confident ill pull of a B with some revising i guess.

Anyway, just wondered if anyone else has started their exams for GCSE yet and how they'v found their first couple.

/Tofas

P.S Cant wait to get them out of the way ;)

Good-luck with that, sounds important and i hope you get a pass.

Theres two types of easy.

1. You thought it was easy because you couldnt answer the hard questions so you left them. Meaning you only answered the easy ones

2. Was really easy and cant believe that these tests should be that easy :D

But what you have to understand is.

You may of learnt much more from the course you'v been doing to go towards your degree than you did on your way to your A-Levels.
So their only easy if you actualy paid attention to everything done.

Revision is only needed if you actualy feel yuo cant remember how to do certain things. Dont see point of revision if you know everything already.

/Tofas

P.s anyway i glided of the point abit there, but either way. Good-Luck in getting good results.

Unlucky :P, gotta wait till tuesday for my first exams - English Lit and IT.
Neither need any revision, well hardly any anyway, i reckon i can get an A in IT without any revision, but aiming for the *, as for English, i don't really care :P!

By the by, have you spoken to Jimbo recently? He's never on msn and i can't be arsed to text/ring him he aint worth the effort.

Also do you by any chance know a Richard Machin lol? Was out with him last night until about 2 this morning and he had his IT exam today as well.

Yea, he's insane. Dont speak to him much though.

Well, I was told the Higher paper had stupid questions on too if its same as ours.

One Of Questions;

What is used to insert letters onto a computer;

A mouse
keyboard
joypad
printer

I was told it was sumin like that, if you get same you should get vertualy full marks.

Wanted to do higher really bad :'(

Unfortunately i've already had three of my exams, but they all went very well - especially the two maths ones ("Math" for Urban / americans, but that is incorrect English). I've also had German Oral which is probably my weakest subjects, but i thought that it went pretty well (hopefully i'll get at least an A in German).

I just started study leave today, and i have English Lit and German Listening next week, and then from June 5-15 i've got most of my exams, and then i'm free until september.

The only annoying thing is that we don't actually do IT at our school (don't actually have lessons -.-) and since it is a pretty easy GCSE i'd love to have done it).

I'm sure you all read that with complete interest =p, sorry if i droned on too much.

Good Luck to everyone who's taking exams this year.

Yes.
GCSEs were easy. I revised for none of them, and thought id pissed them up the wall but pulled it off with As and Bs.

I did higer it tofas and its the same questions although i got marked down for a question where all the answers were relevant.

[Question] What does sitting at a computer all day cause

[a] Visual Problems
DVT
[c] Obesity
[d] damage to the chair.

I argued they were all relevant but the correct answer apparently was visual problems.

Good luck with your exams guys ive got a levels soon hopefully we will all have a goood summer lol xx

Looking at a screen all day doesnt actually cause any visual problems
