40+ isn't broken just solo is broken.

Group up and you will do 40-43 faster than you did 0-40

It wouldnt be so bad if the spawns were just sped up in certain maps. We have got maps that are cleared and empty by low level wizzys trying to level up. Everyones avoiding going to redcave/yims to get away from the pk. First few floors of bdd are full of 36-44 players cause they cant survive very long at the new caves. BDD seems to be the best place to level for solo'ers , PB is not even worth going to. Players are giving suggestions that would help and being completely ignored. At peak hours you cant even level lol, end up just logging off. No one wants to fight for a leveling spot, I aint got that kinda time for that back and fourth non-sense. The casual player is screwed.

Just hope to get into Core or Tribal and if you luckout to be online at the time they are hunting and bravo! Then its good hunting but otherwise your screwed wasting time going map to map looking for a place to hunt.

Lol not to mention those prick sins who roll up on you when your trying to solo yims or even bdd, well I wouldnt call it rolling up... More like "appearing" next to you out of thin air lol and you know how the rest goes...

Meh

Doesn't make it right Callum :(

All you mentioned I agree is the game. But solo shouldn't be so far behind grouping.

PK? Sins using their spells? Solo leveling being a grind? The best caves being monopolised by the best guilds?

STOP THE PRESS.

This Mir Server sounds like a, erm, you know, Mir Server.

You say this but in 4-5 years on euro I was booted out of a cave by tm / revival probably 3-4 times ?.

And I did 38-40 mostly smashing pb with a Tao, I don't remember guild hunts being the best exp in massive groups either 2-3 people was optimum At all times.

Solo isn't even that broken, there's people in my guild who only solo who are 46+.. level 40+ You can solo yims 1 at a time just like being low in PB.

I agree Dave.

I just dislike the QQ's that have nothing to do with the actual problem.

The problem is that people are leveling too quickly in groups.

That's it. All the other issues happen when people geek/cheat/tweak/guild up/P2W etc. etc.

They aren't systemic to the group/solo exp bonuses.

Do not compare a private server to Euro..... it's a completely flawed argument.

The user count on Euro was much higher, there was so much more competition/areas etc. etc. 90% of the time people would just leave each other alone.

As the Mir community has gotten smaller and tightly knit groups/guilds have been created - the PK element is bound to seem more intense.

Core for example include a main group of 4 or 5 people who have played/geeked 10+ servers, plus a multitude of other games together (I know, I'm usually doing it with them).

They play Mir specifically as a PvP gap fill in between other games, so when a server starts, they will geek, then they will PK, then when the server dies, or the QQ's get too much - they'll just leave.

That didn't used to happen on Euro, because it didn't have a 'life span' like Private Servers do - it was the first one we all played and we didn't know it was going to end.

We know Private Servers will be up/active (UC of 100+) for 1-2 years at best. So people play the game in a completely different manner.

There is more classes than Euro. There is more spells, different mechanics, different mobs, areas.

I mean, you're effectively drawing comparisons from two completely different games from the same family.

Like comparing FF7 to FFX - moronic.

Quit crying, play the game like you always have, or Alt+F4.

If it's 'TL;DR' for you - I'm basically telling you to have a big ol' cup of the shut the **** up.

People moaning they can't level after 40, I leveled to 33-43 in pb this was before yims etc was ingame. It's so much easier now.

Of course it is, that is called game progression.

You can't leave it as it always was otherwise you'd get zero new players as it would be literally impossible for them to catch up.

A servers longevity hinders precariously on a few things, some of those being

1)thought out, balanced and enjoyable updates

2)catering for each tier of commitment as much as possible (not everyone is gonna be happy)

3) altering exp tables, drops, and cave as the game proceeds

You cant just say "we did 0-40 in 3 weeks at start of server" when your 6months in expecting it to still be the same and there are people level 55. New players would just think ffffuuuuccckk that! Nobody would reroll which is a factor in recycling user count also.

The fact people in a big guild can get exp 5-8 times faster than someone level 40 soloing is an absolute joke.

People at the start of a server are happy to do this as they are directly competing with other people , months into a server no one is willing to do this. If you want a dead server because everyone quits after hitting 40 levelling slowing down and no guild wanting them this is how you do it

No one is gonna spend weeks and weeks soloing to 43 knowing people are already 51 ?

The new comers always need a 'catch up' mode.

Join the le man's 15 hours in and expect to win? Lul.

Nitro mode req.

Maybe we should be done with it and call it Curse10 on every server just so that people understand whats about to happen lol

I have nothing more to add than what has already been said, we hit 43 long before yims came in mainly in PB and BDD. Solo has always been the worst way to level whereas a well picked group of 3 on here will decimate any mass group in terms of levelling speed!

Only thing i would say is that i think rested exp might be a good idea on here as long as its done in the right way!
