You’ve proved in your own post that what they are doing is correct... if idiots want to buy 1.2/1.4 pots for 1hr and the server team are making enough money to continue... then that is fine.. if they change it to 12/24 hours basically everyone has to pay that to keep up as it will entice more people to lvl quicker and keep up and the server will last 6months.. look how long chronicles has been open!! Open your eyes look at the bigger picture

Interesting perspective, but does this still not have the problem of those with the deepest pockets can benefit over and over again while those who can't afford to sub as much money are left unable to compete?

I don't really know what the solution is, on the one hand as long as theirs a buff available those who can spend the most will benefit the most. I would maybe suggest a subscription buff perhaps? £8.99 for a 30 day buff (constant count down) +15% EXP + 15% gold +(random other buff) that cant be used in conjunction with the other buffs in the GG store. Gives the casuals who can't afford to keep subbing the ability to have a buff while still allowing others to purchase the higher tier buffs catering to both markets? Those paying £4 are always going to be ahead of course, but short of removing EXP buffs all together not really sure what else to suggest? Maybe level gate them? So you can get the 40% buffs but once you hit level 35 you can no longer use them and can only use the lower % ones, reducing again at level X, Y and Z. Again this gives those who want a quick way to boost then tailors down as they level higher and higher eventually removing their ability to use said buff?

No simple answer, if you can think of a way to successfully cater to both sides of the Mir community without throwing masses of buffs and EXP gains about while still maintaining enough income to make the server successful then you'll be onto a winner.

For me that would be through a three tier 30 day buff model, £6.99, £11.99 and £16.99 (or something to that effect) only one buff active at a time using another tier buff would put your previous buff on hold (could pay for tier 1, then two weeks later decide you want tier 3, your tier 1 would pause till your tier 3 ran out etc). No other character beneficial buffs available everything else just cosmetic. But then I don't know if that would work, certainly would be a risk to see if it came anywhere close to the same donations as current exp pots.

Lots of food for thought, like I said no easy answers that are going to make everyone happy on this one. If only we could go back to the Mir 2 euro days of a £6 odd monthly sub and no GG store :p

What caves have you been able to mount in? I have a bridle and bell, not a single cave has let me mount up afaik.

From what I can gather it was a mistake when they performed one of the reboots (see mounts above) and has since been rectified. Looks like wrong GG store was loaded in by accident including items offering added stats and weird things like being able to mount in dungeons.

I have spoken on discord about this several times. If we put 24hour/weekly/monthly EXP potions in game, YES we could earn a fortune! but would it be good for the server? most likely not! We are not willing to risk that.

We may consider smaller rewards such as 10% exp for 24 hours, but if you choose to also want to use a 40% for one hour it will NOT stack. so it will overwrite this. We dont want people having constant exp buffs. This is a low-Med rate.

Thank you for all your feedback. we are considering all option to please as many people as Possible.
