Tiscali. Although there customer services are rubish, they are very cheap. And i hardly have any disconnections.

15.99 for 2mb, 17.99 for 8meg. The only other downside to tiscali is that they run by FUP (fair usuage policy), so that means you are not allowed to download files larger than 50mb within the times of 6pm & 11pm. But you can download as much as you want after them times.

Its not an isp i would heavily reccomend though, i am only with them still because i cannot get ntl/telewest broadband at the moment :( And its cheap BB tbh...I have had alot of emails from them warning me, and now they have made me share bandwith with heavy users in peak hours (6pm till 11pm) instead of standard users because i download alot lol, but it hasnt effected me tbh :P

Who are you with atm?? The only real unlimited isp i know of which is avaliable in all, well most ares is AOL.

2gig a month on an 8meg line is utter crap lol You'd easily use it up even on legal things

*Hugs my 10meg NTL connection and usenet account*

Tbh, most isps dont cut your connection off if you go way over the limit, the most they do now is warn you (like milo, naughty milo =/ ).

I download upto 1 maybe 2 gigs a day (not every day though :P ). So 40gig usuage limit may be enough for me, just ^_^

Somehow I cant picture NTL ringing me to ask me if im happy lol

There 10meg connection is technically only a 6meg here but you get the full 10meg with download managers and usenet So im a happy bunny

I'd actually download more but im majorly lazy when it comes to burning stuff onto DVD and dont have that much space on the laptop :(

@OoOoOo24

You may want to reconsider your stance on unlimited downloads if you wish to move to the 8mb areana. I've not seen a single ISP offering that for -£20 not go down in under three months.

Go get the free version of Netlimiter and monitor how much you use. Then calculate what an appropriate cap might be. I've heard good thngs about;
http://www.ukfsn.org/
http://www.ace-internet.co.uk/
http://www.eclipse.net.uk

If you desperately seek unlimited 8mb, expect to pay anything from £25 to £80 p/m (read the cheaper ones FUP thougherly).

I'm on an 8mb BT line, we got a restriction but we never go over it, even 4 of us on a router. ^^. I'm sure i've used more than the restriction says though. Maybe my dad haxed it, the nerd.

Yeah i checked that Eclipse website,considering it because it accually looks like a good deal...

I may not need 8Meg broadband

How fast do 1-8Meg go (as in download-wise)
Atm because my internet is so slow my max download speed is 59kbps and when i play mir servers i lagg when people are downloading on the other computers (i hear better internet cures that problem?)

Thanks for the posts people.

EDIT :

Found these offer good deals,could anybody tell me if they have bad feedback from customers (because they look like good deals...)
