Hey guys

Don't see anything in place that most servers have that handy for people joining the server new or old to mir to have a read through so they have a good idea of where to go and what to do at X level.

So if you could go back in time and give yourself some Mir advice for this server or when you first started when you were getting 1-40 what would it be?

I know you can't edit posts afterawhile but ill collect them together and see if i can create a new thread when all ideas together and see if mods will allow me to have it stickied

So think EXP/gold/bosses/refining/mining

So far:

EXP : Level 1-50 - PT 3rd. Add BDD archer room into the mix if you're a 41+wiz.

Gold : PT 3rd. Drops really well. Chance of FF.

Bosses : Any drop.

Mining : Mineral Mines....

Milo honestly didnt even know the website existed as was worried with apex shutting down will defo see about adding it on there with a link on here to it or something

PT 3rd 1-50 im only 36 atm but wow to 50 is that now going to be cramped everyone gunning for same area? Anyone level anywhere else to 50? any classes struggle with PT that i can suggest elsewhere

If u have a wizz find 1 more wizz and TS in PT F3 lvl will go very nice 1lvl/day till 40-41.
War/sin/arch sollo is good in numa/PT.

Assassin + warrior: 1-15 omacave, 15-22 bichon deadmines, 22-33 prajna island/psc, 33-38 BDD 1st, 38-45 numa, 45-60 hell cave.

Taoist: As assassin, tag up with a melee class as soon as you can and level with them in the above areas. If you get to level 45 and have luck4+ then poisoncloud in hell or vipers is good.

Archer: Pretty much the same as assassin till 38. With static shot/piercing shot you can kill large lures in past bichon/numa for decent XP. An archer is probably the worst class to level.

Wizard: never levelled one on here but i'd assume Tstorm until level 41, then TU archers till 45 lvl 3 FF. Then duo FF in PT 3rd or BDD 10 until 60.

wizz 48+ can solo in PT F3 in BDD F10 it is hard solo u need 1 more wizz/tao+curse.

I lvled from 42 to 47 @ arch BDD and from 47(got FF :Þ) to 50 lvled in BDD F10 (not solo).

When it comes to bosses and sub-bosses I used to have some very, very profitable cycles and steps i'd follow. However it is very different now to when i first started. The small bosses and subs I used to camp are now high competition for those trying to make a buck. Hopefully future content will drag level 50+s away from caves like RME, ZT and frozen and open them up to newcomers/lower levels.

Woomyon woods shopkeeper has a combined books/accessories/armour shop so you can empty a full bag of items in one go if you like picking up things on hunts. The essentials shop also sells potions, so it's the best place to pot up.

Subs are best for solo cash making if you are not an assassin. Small stuff like woomaguardians, eviltongs, kingscorpion, frozen commanders (very good), IWT (very good), red thunder zumas (very good), incarnate king hogs.

These bosses are do-able if you are a well kitted 45+ in the respective class:

Assassin: Omaking, IZT, kinghog, evil centipede, ant queen, bonelord, RME
Warrior: IZT, kinghog, evil centipede, ant queen, bonelord, RME
Archer: Kinghog, evil centipede, antqueen, RME
Taoist: kinghog, evil centipede, bonelord, RME
Wizard: kinghog, evil centipede, bonelord, antqueen, RME

If you are SERIOUSLY, and i mean really well kitted then warriors can kill zumataurus+omaking+DD and assassins can kill zumataurus+colossus+DD. Taoists can do mirking. A high level wizzy can solo DD, MTK.

probaly to listen to the nagging itch at the back of my head telling me not to play this server since its really just rehab for mir addicts! cause it makes ya never wanna play the ****ing game again!



id also like to say the server team has done an amazing job and they really are amazing for giving up there spare time to work on the server because they dont make a profit or anything and i would also wish anybody that wants to bad mouth them to just leave them alone ok? because when people do it they just upset the wonderful people that read the forum and they dont want to read nasty things! we want to read how cool the server is since we know the team is working super hard.

Cash Guide. for lower level/beginners.

Depending on your level, kit, play time, luck and dedication there will be a cash making method that suits you best. You will have to try them all to see what offers the best yield for you.

BugCave – hunting EvilTongs is a sure way to make some cash, they drop HardTorches and/or Purified Water on a good proportion of kills. These two items are guaranteed sales on the TM. You can also collect threads. Threads will always sell or can be used for MedSunBundle (see below) The EvilTongs also have a small chance to drop OmaSpiritRings, SmashRings and RecalHelms, all will help you keep the gold rising.

OmaLair – Located at the bottom left of Gi-Ryong Province. The mobs in here drop large quantities of gold 12-14k every 3-10 kills.
If you can kill fast enough the gold per hour yield can be very good.
Floor 2 seems to have the best density but floor 3 houses the OmaWarlord. As with all small bosses or subs, marbles, benes and the rare chance of something special always keeps the funds looking healthy.

StoneTomb – F2 is ideal, high density and a large quantity of the fake WhiteBoars. You can fill a bag in 3-4 WB kills down here and because it takes no time at all to get back to, the selling of everything is worthwhile providing good cash per hour yields.
People also pick up all the large pots and store them during every “sell up” allowing for later levelling or boss hunts to be “free” during the pot up phase.

PranjaTemple – Although F3 is often occupied by higher levels taking advantage of the easy kills on huge density and frequent spawn rate, Floors 1 and 2 do offer decent cash as well (usually faster to RT into mobs until you find the good areas)
They drop a whole lot of the 25k books (FrostCrunch, StaticShock and Decoy) Loads of armours and a good quantity of threads.

MedSunBundles – You can craft “string” (3 of each color thread). With string you can combine 6 Med Suns into a bundle at storage. Bundles sell from 80k-120k and sometimes more at peak fight times.
The fastest MedSun collection method is killing Oma Warriors around Castle GI.
If you are a lower level and do not have string/threads you can still kill them and sell the med suns to the shop for 1k a pop, providing some decent cash to get you up a few more levels to try the other options.

Ghouls and GhoulKing – Ghouls in Bichon DeadMine 1 on F2, 1 on F3 and 2 in KR drop lower tier Marbles, Benes, Runes and Plat/BIO/Gold Ore. These are easy kills (The KR is usually camped by higher levels but F2 and 3 are often fair game) You need to rely on luck here as variants of the items are worthless. Marbles you hope for are evasion or focus, BIO you want 15+, Gold you want 15+ Plat you want 12+ Runes you want destruction. You could go 10 kills and only make 200k or you could make 1 kill and get 1mill.

WoomaGuardians – 1 on F1, 2 on F2, 2 in KR. They drops benes and runes. Again you hope for a Destruction Rune.

RedThunderZuma – Found in ZumaTemple, Harder for the lower levels unless you are a sin with moonlight. But these drop higher tier marbles, benes and a chance for something nice. As far as I know there are 3. 1 on floor 4, 1 on floor 5(before mirking) and 1 on the last floor before ZumaTaurus. I have heard that there is one on a random room in the maze but I have never looked.

Mining is also an option but I've always preferred "playing" you can do it on a second screen or second client in window mode. (I alwasy forget to move from node to node though)
DeadMines - You want BIO 10+ Gold Ore 12+(15+ even better)
MineralMines - You want AdamantineOre and Platinum Ore 12+(15+ even better)


This is aimed at the lower level/new starter. There are many other ways of making gold/items If you can do all of the above you will have more than likely already discovered what bosses you can camp/kill on the time frames you play and kit you have.

Yes, it is quite crappy that there aren't many leveling areas, many of the existing euro caves are just redundant and empty. Make the mobs harder, give them more exp - such a simple thing to do and it'd get people using the currently-unused caves again.


I have a level 46 warrior with approx 100 DC (with Rage). I did some tests of 10 minutes of leveling in a few places, to work out which is the best place for me to level. I'll post the results incase anyone finds them useful.

10 minutes in PT F3 - 0.30% (crosshalfmoon)
10 minutes in PastBichon - 0.31% (tdb)
10 minutes in Numa - 0.32% (tdb)
10 minutes in BDD F10 - 0.35% (crosshalfmoon)
10 minutes in Turtles - 0.37% (tdb)

Out of the above 5 places, PT F3 is the only place I can earn gold; the other 4 I spend more on pots than I can earn picking gold/drops.
