We can all safely agree now we've got two major guilds which are WW and THC.

The problem lies upon guilds being too big e.g. in archons there was five/six different guilds all competing with one and another and sometimes multiple guilds will be fighting over one boss. It makes the game extremely fun and challenging. In the beginning of rise of archons I hated this feature, however now I know it's importance and effectiveness.

By implementing a membership cap on guilds it'll give smaller guilds a chance to compete if they've got enough people online or struck an alliance with other guilds.

Sadly as seen on other servers people just use voice comms to get round it

This has been attempted in archons and not everyone would be satisfied with a secondary guild. A lot of people will either try to join the main guild or look elsewhere unless they're playing it socially with friends.

Multiple secondary guilds were created in rise of archons e.g. The company and FightClub but they were not effective or made much difference.

It's not Mir 2 though and the server is holding solid 300+ at peak times Archon died down very quickly compared to this, with the Chinese players getting translation i think it's only going to get higher. Also cutting it now could hurt people there are Chinese / Polish that have big guilds on there wouldn't be fair to cut them into 2 have what 40-50 in one guild if they capped and it some poor 5-10 people maybe running around feeling they can't play with the rest of the people speaking their language.

I don't even think THC / WW are at the cap of members anyway, SleepingDragons are just as big and plenty of other guilds are up and coming.

Server and guilds feel healthy so far imo, changing/limiting guild size now would only damage it rather than improve the experience.

i also wouldn't say THC is any bigger than WW or SD or AAO...

so there are more than 1-2 guilds with a decent amount of players.

each guild will have 50+ players

THC itself has 57 players and there never all active at the same time.

the only current problem on the server is alliances with WW/SD/AAO vs THC.

but if people are already trying to take over the server with alliances i can see this ending up like chronicles people will get bored and wonder off 1 by 1.

Maybe if you and your little cronies didn't spam global with complete crap all the time you wouldn't have so many people VS "THC" so moaning about its 3 guilds VS THC is pointless also you're the ones that keep spamming wars with WW so basically you're inviting being attacked its that simple really ExCaLa. :'(

i couldn't careless how it ends up like.. i like the PvP/pk regardless win or lose.

if anything needing more than 1 guild to fight vs us for SW was more than enough to know they need it.

i welcome it, as i also did on chronicles... i'm just saying when my time comes to stop playing all these allied guilds will get bored without any PK.. iv seen it happen before, more than once for that matter.

P.S it had nothing to do with globals they had an agreement before the war even happened. guessing along the lines as you help us win SW we will help you with DMW..

but hopefully jamie doesn't let things like this happen..

the War should be between the 2 guilds.

if you already own a wall you should be unable to take part in other conquests.

its always been the way on Mir3 allies help each other at wars maybe your only concerned about it because THC wont get a wall then so not really thinking about the server only yourself as usual kinda funny you think "IF" when you leave PVP wont happen and server will die lol because you are the only people WW fight right? giving yourself way too much credit as usual...

Oh the good old days where the biggest and badest guilds would war every single guild so they wouldnt get murder, I for one believe there should be a high price per war because these cowards dont know anything else.

some members in THC will attack on sight i myself dont attack anyone unless im at War or if they are in SD/WW.

i have no issue letting low levels/guildless level.

you cant taint everyone with the same brush.

not to mention iv also seen globals from people saying WW are picking on guildless players also, so its not just one party, every guild will have there players who attack anyone they want.

Every guild had the odd few that PK on sight for no reason, I rarely attack anyone while I'm leveling solo even if there is a member from THC while we are at war, I will only attack back if they start the fight.

I'd rather RT/TT than see another "nn" global shout -.-

If you want to join a big guild, join it, I have seen near enough them all say they are looking for members.
Also guilds will ally to take out other guilds, why? because it's Mir, it's how it always happens.

I think the guild situation is decent as it is, would like a couple of other things to spend tax on, and need the guild war price a lot higher to be honest, but other than that, its Gucci.

i think asstwix asked them after the war if they wanted to until asstwix changed his mind and went on a rampage wiping the chinese out in snow.

THC vs the world baby =D

Wish this were the case, but everyone seems to be warring everyone else from what I've seen. Loose alliances seem to form and dissolve day to day as people make friends, then other people pk at bosses. Really wish I only had to look out for THC, but it actually feels like every guild could randomly decide to murder me lol. Feels like a very hostile server by mir standards, just hope the high levels don't get bored soon and start indiscriminately murdering low levels as that's a quick way to losing users.

I think smaller guilds would probably be better, that way there is less chance a rogue member will cause random wars. Plus if a war is declared you will be less likely to run into them while leveling since they will be spread out more thinly. On the flip side, I'd say increase war duration to 24 hours, increase cost, add in some sort of K/D counter, and maybe rankings for that too. It's pretty boring right now, and only really used to avoid going red, could be so much more.

We always had a general don't waste time fighting unless it's for a sub/boss agreement with SleepingDragons.


It just so happened that you guys (THC) pissed off SleepingDragons enough that they were more interested in stopping you guys.
