trying my best to tame 5 redfrogspiders to hunt bugcave with to get like 200k ... wasted 145k in pots / rts.. tt'd 7 times found 6 wizards trying to tame pets aswell.. i end up getting you gonna lose your pet in 6 mins BEFORE taming the last pet... while trying to find the 5th i died because i rt'd in a middle of a lure (you can not do much if you die in 0.02 seconds.. and 3 of your RTS DONT WORK!!!) end up losing what i have been trying to tame for 2 hours....

but ist really worth it ?! like seriously if i happen to get the pets... there wont be a point eh ? pets for 2 hours and kill it with electric shock while taming it again, lose one go retame another spend 30 more mins the other pet untame spend 5 mins retame bla bla bla..............

we are not euro mir anymore... 14 years has passed...
is there anything being done to make having pets worth spending 2 hours (atleast) taming/lvling them?!

can't you add something like storage to store your pets in ? limited use 1 time ? make it shop available ? 100k ? 200k?
do something.... anything !!

Seems that this game was designed to encourage group hunting. Find a hunt partner instead of insisting on soloing all the time.

exactly , this server isnt a solo server all u need is a guild/grp to hunt with and u will see its better then solo.

Few tips -
Have some luck on yer weapon, make sure mob HP is 10%ish.

You trying to get the OP pets, so of course it's going to be very difficult to tame armoured ants are a nice alt.

vemon spiders are easiest to tame and u can easy 1 v 1 bdd tongs/snakes (makes life easier)

for all those being a retard and not understanding the problem and not ever played a wizard and reply with nothing to my thread but make friends group with people join a guild tame ridiculous pets you may f**k off out of my thread.

your not giving any real comment on this issue you are just giving alternatives to avoid taming.

i am and always been like many players on mir a solo player. and prefer a wizard > all others... thats due to being able to tame pets
but when taming pets takes so much goddamn effort for 2 hours ..... its stupid.. i only play for like 2-4 hours aday.. cba logging on the time where all of my guild is online and be able to go for a guild hunt PK more than boss hunting..

Nothing wrong with how pets are tbh dude, there a commodity not a necessity.

As other players have said if your having troubles, try an easyer, less time consuming pets to tame, i never seem to have the troubles you are, usually have all 5 pets tamed in 30-45mins TOPS. (you are trying to tame one of the best pets ingame........)

I find that pets achally slow my leveling rate down while solo as im always worry about them and make fuss over them not wanting them to die, and they just get in the way when trying to kill/kite mass lures anyway, witch is also why pets are a bad idea on guild hunts, they just get in the way and can cause people to die.


If there was anything wrong with the taming system it would of been changed over a decade ago.

I think your main problem is down to the technique your using to tame them, or your just being to anal about them, if a mob dont tame in 5 mins tops, kill it and move on. (even 5 mins is to long for me)

Does Bodyluck affect taming time? takes me an hour to get 5 blackmaggs ffs. then go off hunting get swarmed click on tt and it doesnt work. dead, hour+lvling wasted.

will try the weap +1 luck see if helps. im level 27 wizz with 21MC its kinda hard getting more if i want to keep AC up as i lagg a lot.

Taming has always ben frustrating to be honest, in fact its actually easer now than it was in euro; fact. However, I have to disagree about people insisting on groups. Most players I come across are levelling are solo, except for the boss hunts. Especially now that group gold isn't automatically shared.
