Sorry I'm late, had to prevent some universal catastrophe's. You know what I mean?

Atleast someone seems to be doing thier job, as like many have said Mir might have been a great game but without the updates, like anything it's the inevitable that it's going to fall behind when new and better games come to the surface.

As for being cheap: why pay for a game if you can get the same gaming experience without paying?

You generally get what you pay for. For example:

WoW Private servers are laggy, buggy, can't support very many people and its a game that needs a very large userbase. If you cant get more than say 200 people playing a server then its always going to be far less fun and immersive than an official server. They are also exceptionally unbalanced, and in a game like WoW where balance is a centrepoint of the game, thats a very bad thing.

I can understand not paying for Mir though. Cos Mir official servers cost like £7 a month, and you get an update once every century and despite the fact their servers can support a large playerbase, there isn't one to support lol. Private servers are better, more advanced and have far more content that the official one.

I wonder why Wemade don't get off their backsides and start adding stuff to improve the game ?
They need to make their minds up about Mir. Either they're going to spend all their time and effort on other projects or they're going to carry on and support Mir. What's stopping them making the decision. If they have made the decision, and it's to support Mir, then they either haven't started yet or they simply don't understand what is required to support it. Even maybe unable to through ineptitude. (Good word!)
I've already said that the game is outdated but, as we all know, its very playable and still addictive. The existance of this forum is proof of that.
I'm even considering having a tinker with a DM2 server. God know's why, I like L2 and EVE too much but I also like Mir and the ability to do something better than the official game always feels nice.

They appear to think the success of Mir2 was enough for them to be the best forever. Lots of companies nowaday think the MMO market will throw cash at you even if the game is bollocks. Codemasters (UK company) thought they could import any Asian style game and charge people to buy + subscribe to the game because Lineage2 managed it. 6 months later and their games are going free-to-play.

Webzen are a competitor to WeMade. WeMade's biggest game is Mir2, which is about a decade old now. Webzen are making games like "Huxley" (MMOFPS) and SUN (soul ultimate nation) which are going to take the asian market and the western market by storm.

Codemasters imported one good game, RF online... But meh even thats going F2P... But they are a **** company and they even admitted they wanted to ride the "wave of mmo's" which is retarded, and probally why every single one of their mmorpg's have crashed lol.

MMOFPS, will it be similar to planetside? I loved that game

Rise Of The Lich King sounds good, but i think Blizzard could of held out a bit longer.. i mean there were rumours of "rise of the lich king" but lots of players haven't even got a chance to take on Illidan yet, (one of the final things in TBC amirite?) a few have but not many, so i think they could of waited a while before announcing it all and releasing.

I sincerely hope this "death knight" business has been well thought out otherwise it's gona **** things up alot.

Death Knight is still currently in the making, it will be based around tanking / damage although it will still have some damage spells, and to be honest outlands wasn't the best, had some amazing instances but i think the fact they had about 8 instances leading up to opening it, took the mic, three or four maybe nowadays the noobs don't get the chance because people have unlocked the bt so they don't want to return to these places..

Didn't think it was too much of a brilliant idea, and its release date is during 2008. So noobs still have there chance :D

Sounds almost exactly like what TBC was like, Most items and mobs used the same mesh though... Just different colours, That's what really pissed me off, and you had some level 60 items from (BF,RP) that had the same mesh as 70 epics and some that just looked better then 70 items. I'm sure it will indeed be a hit of a expansion but I know I'm not going to play :P.

They nerfed so much end game contain it was retarded

Aye the nerf's were stupid, i only do private servers nowadays. Druids died from the nerf but they seem to be putting them back up slowly lol, so it may be interesting.
