At 28-32 inches go for a 720p TV. You won't be able to physically tell the difference between 720p and 1080p at that size.

Go for a decent brand. Samsung make good HDTV's so does Sony (But they're overpriced). LCD will be cheaper than Plasma and I doubt you'll be able to tell the difference between them

you cant get plasmas at a low size as 32" anyway. and lcd's are much better for gaming.

personally id go for a 1080p tv, as new consoles do actually utilise it and can make a difference imo.

samsung, lg, sony are good. or panasonic if you've got the money.

if you dont want to over spend, but still want good quality, then the samsung 556 32" is a good buy at around £500.

if you want to splash out then id go for panasonics new 32" (i think its the px80, not positive though).

the sony 4000 32" is also a nice buy.

In my expert opinion i would go for a toshiba.

42" if you have the space is always a nice size

this toshibaif i had the money. its toshibas flagship regza range and its great.

If you have more money avalable i would go for this toshiba. its the new verson of the previous link.

These tvs are the step between consumer and professional for quality and price.

if you have a £1100 to splash out go for a panasonic 50" plasma there very nice and near professional for the price (not so good at de-interlaceing tho)

BUT if money is really no option get a bespoke Fujitsu plasmavision which is the best tv on the market.

Looks like my LG (But mine was 22")

I had a problem with mine, when playing the Xbox the sound would make loud popping and a crack-ing noise, then the sound would go off.

Sent it back, got anew one and did the same. Bought a Sharp one, and it doesnt do it. So I just put it down to something to do with the LG TV.
