I'm sure that everybody feels the same regarding this, I only looked at the first page to find a thread so not sure if actually brought up as a bug yet in this particular forum.

Deva as it stands (or floats, if we're getting technical) is too OP.

There is no chance of deva missing and hits way too much HP, it's to the point now where I cannot even out run a tao and just RT because it's pointless to PVP and effortless for the tao who is attacking.

please read the essay(pretty much) that i just wrote, on a possible solution for this and give some feedback. its okay just having a whine about something which is irritating you, but in no way is your current post constructive. do you have a solution you would like to share? which you have put some thought into? rather than just saying its too op and i cant do anything against it.

FYI my thread is addressing the Hide spell and how i think it would be good if that and moonlight worked against devas, its probly the thread under this one. ;)

Aye, I read your thoughts on a possible solution, although i'm really not keen on essays, before I wrote this actually.

Your idea is flawed by the fact that moonlight can be worked around by taoists using a green poison on you and them setting their Deva to masters target...
We would still be hit every time by Deva as soon as the tao hits you again or the poison damages after 5 seconds. NB: You have to stop to apply moonlight and walk 2-3 steps before running again, more than enough time for a tao to lock on again if their reaction times are good.

The OP didn't need to be constructive, the solutions to the problem are simple;
Remove the master commands for Deva
Reduce their damage out and/or cause the bolts from deva to miss attack.

People are overthinking and giving themselves headaches to solutions which would take an age to code into game.

i responded. just out of curiosity are you talking about 1v1ing a tao in a town or a dungeon? because in team fights which are the most common type of fight... then the hide from deva would work perfectly well.

Tao ain't op they're just a pain in the ass cause they flinch you and someone already noted a proper fix which was lower the ai his speed and up its damage so that people can at least get running again tbh I find you guys whining a laughing matter once wizz gets ff are you going to whine about something you can't kill with twice the damage wizzies do then a tao? Instead wait for crescent slash and fleet footing skill you be able to deal with a Tao with ease.

i dont feel im overthinking at all. i dont main a tao but i do understand that without the deva command the deva would be just attacking random ranged mobs and being totally useless in pve and attacking mobs instead of people in pvp.

get a tigernecky. you should need 1 of them to have a chance vs most ranged classes anyway the way the server is now. make hide work. done. sorted.

Still with these its not the point

SF has a huge CD so once its out tao owns u again

Its the point that when loads f mobs are around deva is still hitting you very time making u unable to move.... its silly

Deva needs to be as strong as it is, but without that stupid command.

Deva is fine caveman, dont piss off a tao if you dont wanna fight him. Pvp is but a small part of mir.
we all know mir is impossible to balance by now.
There is always at some point one class or another thats at the top of their game, but constant calls for nerf is getting tiresome whatever the class.
when more spells drop for other classes and kit starts to evolve as it always does, it will be another class who's at the top of thier game.

deva is fine, tao is fine.

What is wrong with you people that you open 3 threads for the same topic each day after BH clearly said that he doesn't see anything wrong with the way it is?
