How did you first hear about Lomcn?

as title says,

maybe we will get some interesting story's, maybe we wont, roll the wheel!

from what i remember i was pking/leveling in bichon mines when a friend (Carl) first told me about private servers and lomcn, at first i kind of ignored it, then a few days passed before i plucked up the courage to take a look, and found p69 it was a great server at the time but very quiet i seem to recall.. only about 10 regulars at the time, the likes of (Geo, Hustler, TrueRevenge, Jenny, and a few others who got banned for the ztk spawn bug scorp left in xD)
once caught up in the whole private server business i didn't really look back at euro, i quit at level 35, which was of a high level at the time, then convinced other people to try private servers, which eventually turned into us running one

The first time i heard about lomcn when a cousin of mine who i see every year came round my house for a visit and told me about a private server called InSaNe. I loved it back in those days and nothing can replace those memories

I was actually playing the first RageZone server at the time and a mate of mine told me, which he heard about it through Xander lol.
Got onto here and never really looked back.

War on euro and someone mentioned private servers and that i could play with all the rares I wanted.

I had a quick search and found GameGuru forums. There was tonnes of ktest servers (Every server was ktest... and literally just basic server files lol).

Played one and the guy had edited all drop files so bosses dropped good and just randomly spawned bosses all over, was so much fun! Been excited about finding a clearring and dragon slayer lol. Then came MSRF! And i learnt all about the server files...

Then came LOMCN, i joined pretty much when that first came up, then went down and then came back, so I've been pretty much part of the whole Private Server community from the beginning, and probably till the end!

I remmeber a forum about Evils Illusion though...like when it was gonna be a mir2 patch rather than new game (mir 3). I'm sure SoulSeeker had something to do with that cos I remember his avatar.. In the early years I spent more time on Stanislav's forum though (mmorpg-net.com)

I used to watch my brother play mir all the time cause I was only about 13 or 14 till one day when i was about 15 or 16 he stopped playing mir but I still wanted to play so I remember this site he used to go on to find servers and been here ever since.

Yeah me too, i'm pretty sure i made an account earlier on in the days but forgot the id and pass after a few years when i took a well needed break. I don't know if anyone remembers a guy called 1337ult from euro back in the day but thats the guy i heard all about mir private servers and guided me here, been stuck here ever since.

i was actually playing the official mir when i guy popped out ingame, i don't remember his name, but he seems to know a lot of things about the game that i didn't.. (which was easy since i still don't know much about it now) and he stated he knew how to be GM and things like that.. he started talking about his private server which was much better and fun than official so i became curious and looking around and around i ended onto the ferny's website with the first guide for 1.4 servers and after that the jump to ragezone and lomcn was very small.. i can't remember much though because it was about 8 years ago :/

I used to watch my brother play Euro all the time, I didnt like the game at first as just watching you dont realy get the feel of the game. Once i turnded 15 my brother had started to play RaGeZoNe 1.9
It looked alot better and faster paced so i decided to give it ago... i wasnt to impressed with it tbh, i managed to get lvl 30+ on ragezone Lowrate and started to like it more and more.

Untill one day when i loged on, i was on a Black Map with nothing there and my char was level 65535, ran forwards to see HellDestroyer and Mental just stood there... i cant recall what happend 100% but i remember being chased by AncientCrawler and HellDestroyer saying " LMAO! ", next thing i know i was kicked from server and my account was banned. while trying to find out what happend a mate of mine directed me to LOMCN to find the answer as its full of private server owners and said maybe one of them could help me figure out what happend..

i have bin here ever since... in the shaows.. watching.. waiting...

Almost the same apart from I heard about it (GameGuru) from an irl friend who I use to live with at the time with his parents then all of a sudden that site had gone and I'm sure along the lines there was another forum but I think it lasted about a week (maybe less?) at which point I think I noticed Miles had the lomcn link in his name and from there on I've been using these forums with my original account Pete107 which was banned by leo for apparent dc cheat on frozen all because I double fs'd people
