So the earth is spinning round and round, and we're orbitting the sun, and our solar system is spinning around and around in the milky way, and then that's spinning around whatever, and I can STILL balance a pen standing on end on my desk. Does anybody else think that is as cool as I think it is? Talk about stability....

Its called Gravity.

Yes, we're relying on an intangible force that we can't see, contain or fully understand to keep us in place as we whizz through the universe.

Yet people still get motion sickness.

We can create gravity, therefore we can contain it

Everything has a gravitational pull.. You need an obkect in order to have it, you can't just wave a magic wand and create it in a test tube.

no, we can simulate the effects of gravity.

A huge magnetic force in the middle of the earth creates gravity does it not?

Therefore If we go somewhere without gravity (i.e Space) and stimulate gravity that would actually be creating gravity cause it never existed there lol

no.

There is still gravity in space, you are further away from some large masses, therefore the force affects you less. Gravity is the pull of mass, you can simulate this using a fly wheel, or relativity, but you cannot create it.

edit: and its not ****ing magnetic.

I thought gravity was created by verry large objects?
