Why do you bother? i mean have you played since euro and on private servers and are addicts, or is it part to do with your programming skills and uni, or a cash cow etc.
Your at uni!!, you should be out fking anything with a pulse and getting stoned every night with a bit of revision inbetween.
If you know anything about mir community you know it starts off nice, but dont take long for the knives to come out. id be out fking :P

I can only speak on behalf of myself, but I have a passion and an urge to learn things i cannot normally achieve. Similarly i have had an addiction with Mir like almost most users on this forums, from when i was a young teenager, it is that addiction alongside frustration of faults in servers, that strives me to create Apocalypse.

I agree with this.
The only note I want to add is how 'perfect' we all want the server.
We know this is only partly possible, but if we release now, there will be loads that are not what I call perfect. For example I want the drop files to be absolutely spot on and thoroughly tested before. Little things like this are VERY important to me and these kind of things delay the server alongside 40 other things we want perfect.

Can't wait!!! I ain't played any games in 6 months, we have a newborn baby so it will be an eye opener to see how my gaming life is gonna be from now on in regards to leveling 
checking these forums everyday for an update, make sure the weapon tiers are in good order & Occasional rare drops from underused dungeons to make those places worth hunting solo/group pleaseeeee. Good job so far from screenies!

I had my first daughter 2 years back (she's 2 in 1 month) and we are expecting our 2nd this November.
I make a lot of time for gaming still, as it's a release - but my advice? Do not even try for the first 6 months. If you find yourself with spare time, then fantastic - use it to a) make sure your partner is relaxed and not struggling etc then b) gaming
After that though, some semblance of normality does seem to come back so finding the time is easier. My daughter actually loves sitting on my lap, smashing the keyboard screaming 'poo'. So...
We're loving it so far, feeding at night is our only problem area as she's full time breast fed & is up every 1-3 hours every night. Which is good that it doesn't wake me, but it can take some time to get to sleep with the sound of a baby crying. I work a lot, my partner fuels me and the baby.
Newborns are a lot harder work for the mother it seems. I bought a new laptop to use in the living room, so I'm not away from my family in the office. It's class seeing her doing new stuff, talking to her and training her from low level m8.
Looking forward to her getting into a routine so I know when I can get balls deep into Mir again. Also, playing Mir in the living room should meet the female criteria of 'spending time together'. Cry gd gf

This game could be released a year from now and the same addicts on here who say they wont play will still be here... I wont be playing cause i have a job and a life, however i suggest not listening to these impatient ****s

think they should take all time they need, already looks like more content then mir chronicles had when it launched and this server aint been over hyped at all, team seems to listen to its testers and are fixing whats reported so let them work, longer it takes the better will be at launch!
looking forward to trying the server out and i aint fussed about waiting! seems they are focused on releasing a fun well polished server and not a quick cash grab :P
though deffo need more exciting skill names instead of "fireshot"..... infact no this server is gunna ****ing suck because they are not giving spells a good name! GAWD GURRR! :P
