Be nice if more games were F2P here I like the idea that those who want too can legally purchase items but those who cant afford it can still hunt boss's and get the items the normal way

Yeah, was just interested in finding more about Mir when I came across an article saying it was F2P in China (realised after the date of article was on the same page saying on Monday - so worked out date :P).

Don't see why game companies in Europe don't do the same. Then again it can't have done much good to their revenue.

*hopes for Euro Mir to go F2P*

How much do DSS's go for sale in europe? I seem to remember around 300pound sterling Now imagine GN sold it for 200pound thats over a years subscription (Dont know current price) alot of people use the service in china and Chinese mir has about 200 servers all with people willing to spend that much on items

I reckon they make more selling items than they did charging per month Be pointless otherwise

Thats 30months worth of subscriptions from one item costing £200 People would pay hell people do pay

FreeToPlay is the future of most mmorpgs its the only way to legalise (in a gaming sense) the whole underground trading sector and stops people being scammed

it would also make selling gold on ebay pointless, but the value of gold ingame would drop drastically if they started "selling" gold chests etc... and if they sold lvl 40 items they could end up cheaper than lvl 36 items... it would have to be very carefully monitered(sp?) ingame, to make sure they don't absolutely rape the economy
