All bias and whining aside, I decided to roll a Warrior as my first character on this server, and I am constantly disappointed.
When I hit my 20's everyone tells me to go PSC, where I was potting constantly, and as I had left Deadmines my money making capacity diminished.
I just feel like there is something wrong with AC and how it works at the moment. In Euro Mir, Warriors DID NOT level in full DC gear with Gale rings, Gale's were rare. I think before I left Euro, My warrior might have finally gotten 2.
Warriors would have a MAC set for WT and magic based mobs, an AC set to tank bosses, level in physical caves.
When I got into my lvl 22 armor, I was like "Finally, some AC, I won't take as much damage now" I went to ST and was almost floored by the first black boar I fought - don't get me wrong, I know ST is a lil tough for a fresh 22 warrior, but I shouldnt have taken so much damage. So I went to BC, it was survivable, but god damn the EXP was ****.
I am not biased to a class, I am not part of the politics and griping from the LOMCN community, I came to this server cos it was new, and I wanted a bit of Mir action. I am enjoying it, but I am starting to regret rolling my Warrior. It's nice having gear I dreamed of 10 levels earlier, but I want to actually be able to take damage, as someone said earlier, Assassins were introduced and became a fast physical DD, this moved warriors into a tanking roll, but we don't seem to be able to tank, soloing is tough, and sins kill stuff faster than us.
It feels like we are being encouraged to play our warriors in the assassin playstyle.. maybe its just me, but AC does not work here like it used to on Euro.
I try my full AC kit (remember im only lvl 30, so I can only wear AC 0-3 or similar items) in my full AC gear, I don't survive any longer, and of course my damage is lower so its pointless.
Now, I don't expect to solo bosses, I would like to be able to take a few hits when im tanking them in future, but potting almost once per mob in every area 'for my level' is not fun, and makes hunts alot shorter.
Cheers,
Skath
