Not entirely related but http://www.lomcn.org/forum/showthread.php?61955-What-guilds-would-you-like-to-see-back we made a similar thread a couple of years ago, not sure who is still alive from that list haha.
I was on Dserver till that password reset when i couldnt recover my characters (almost cried) then i rage quit and re-rolled to Pserver and played that till mir 3 came out =)
Name on D server was - Squall (War) and Sephiroth (wiz)
Name on P server was - Bigbodyguard + Scarypoppins, Both in Spiritual_Connections
oh and also played Roadkill for a bit..ahhh good days

I run a small Ludus with 13 Gladiators in training, you fit the requirements they have requested.

old players as in old to this server? like at the beginning? im old to mir, euro beta days probably started 4 days into it. named myself jennox, joined some guild whos leader was named felix, got pked by a gm named malerin who as it turns out was just some strumpet who one of the italian gm team had a boner for and decided to give her gm powers
ended up getting banned a week or 2 after beta for a speed hack i made. didnt play much of euro after that until a friend who knew I had experience in packet editing from another previous game gave me server files he managed to nab off a public ftp server that the staff foolishly uploaded to while doing a backup of the server.
it was a goldmine. back then the only way i knew how to exploit a quest was to monitor the traffic from client/server and actually complete the quest legitimately to find out where in the script the prize was given. was a real bit of work. it put the fatesword quest out of my access as I wasn't getting lvl 35 anytime soon.
but when i got the server files and saw all the npc scripts...well mir was wide open and staff were too slow to respond, they had to ask wemade for permission for pretty much everything so that took time and tied their hands. you'd think though that they would have noticed all the packets being sent to the server.
some clever buggers have edited the server files and stopped it now. took all the fun away from mir imo. i never liked levelling fairly or having to grind to get rich.
you can be sure if i find an exploit i wont be sharing and ill be exploiting it to its fullest. being honest and reporting gets you nowhere, theres no honourary system where staff give you something for it. so why bother?
