I need a favor

I have tried well over 20 time 2 try and get a 1.9 emu server runing on my comp, but still cant manage 2 get the gates to connect. Do not tell me 2 search because i have tried everything anyone has ever mentioned! The gates should connect but they still dont, i have check the .ini files hundreds of timesand checked the paths are correct. What i want is some1 2 make some server files for me, not the hole lot jst all the .ini files or post theres that they are 100% sure that work. Also i would apreciate if they set the setup.ini 2 connect to my reg server. If you pm me i will tell u my ip addy. I would like the server files for offline use.

Why dont you use the files in my thread? All you have to do with them is make sure BDE is set up correctly, change 2 IP's in the setup.txt (in the bottom), and run the files in the order wich i specified.

wen i use those files and place them in C:\mirserver i get a windows socket error >.<
but if i move the files say 2 C:\mirserver2 and change all the paths i dont get a socket error but it doesnt connect ><

If you are using foundation files what ingel posted there is a couple of errors in it.

Open Dbserver Folder and edit dbrsc.ini

Change Key=0123456789 to read Key=testfsdmir2

Now edit !Setup.txt in mir200 folder, go right to the bottom and edit:

Change IP=82.131.3.165 And ServerAddr=82.131.3.165

to if using Damians regserver IP=127.0.0.1 And ServerAddr=127.0.0.1

if using 3in1 change it to IP=127.0.0.1 and ServerAddr='Whatever IP 3in1 Says'

and ServerAddr=127.0.0.1 in Dbserver Folder/dbrsc.ini to ServerAddr='Whatever IP 3in1 Says'

Hope this helps, just downloaded the serverfiles to see why so many people have a problem with them.

Mate, they work perfectly as they are uploaded. I have specified in my thread that you need to change the regserver details, as i cant set that up, but might set them up with damians regserver. I have tryed it several times, deleted the whole files, downloaded extracted changed regserver details and viola.


As for the error that you cant create a character, what is exactly the error? Have you tried wiping the character database?

if u wanted to connect to your own reg server, i have notice that u have to be online, and use your online ip, when u open the reg server, but then u can go offline and still use the same ip as your online ip to conenct to the reg server(only use it for the reg server)

i always had problems opening reg server offline with 127.0.0.1 ip...

it could be the ip in the actual server exe, i hexed mine and put in my lan ip for off line use works like a dream.

how do you know it wouldnt ?
got a server up have you?
i would post my ini's but that would mean booting up the server computer and i cba, as i know that my inis wouldnt help you.as i have taken out every ip i could find and put in my own and yes that includes the reg sever ip.

simply really
in no way at all will changing an IP in the M2server.exe have any effect on the server gates connecting to each other

the M2 connects to the gamegate/dbsrv/regserver it does not connect to the logingate or selchargate

logingate connects to selchargate connects to gamegate connects to M2server

and you only need to hex the M2 to translate the goldname and a few other bits all the IPs and the likes are stored in the !setup.txt they dont have to be hexed at all

by the looks of that pic the gates port is blocked in some way

also i get this on my m2server, looks like its connecting twice :S

oh ye how can i check if that port is blocked? I have closed all my firewalls down, and nothing else running aprat from the server and aol.

I can guarentee the reason BH said the client is because you have to hex Ledu which is the only bloody Mir2 application that actually requires hexing to work

1) Ive made no guide bar the one for the Ledu Client Which can be followed by a 5 year old so you just proved how dumb you are
2) Yes there having been 30 if not more releases of the PlumeWind Emulator I know because im on the chinese sites everyday getting stuff for ungrateful assholes like you
