Right, downloaded the LATEST Firefox, checked that I have the LATEST Setpoint software to drive my mouse. Opened this page, pressed Back and ---- NOTHING...

This means all you other people using Logitech mice are using a different set of software from Set point...this is the software from Logitech used to drive the mouse..

1. Double-click a tab to close it (you can configure this in maxthon options if it isnt set for you already).
2. Reconfigure the popup blocked and you will be fine.
3. The back buttons only one more space to the right (it got me at first too).

Ahh TY the double click thing, lifesaver!
Just relised another bad thing though about Maxthon, on FF you can press in on your mousewheel if you want to open the link in another tab. Very handy

In maxthon you just drag the link away from its self-click area. (Ex: Away from itself), and drop it. That will open the new tab.

I hate the way in FF if you come off using the mousewheel (single clicking it, not scrolling) it opens a new tab. It really does drive me around the bend.

As you can see, IE is by far the worst, with Opera the best. This isn't just in security, it's also in standards compliance and performance, too.

Make no mistake, i use & love the fox, but Opera is still the better browser.

IE6 is an outdated peice of software designed for the last decade's problems. IE7 may correct those mistakes, and i'm hoping it does. FireFox, however, has probably reached it's apex. From now, the browser can only get marginally faster and improve standards support. Other than that, you can only bog down the browser with more crap.
