Anybody know any fast, free methods to change your ip on your computer completely?

It all seems so simple! Would it effect the connection in any way?

The modem is connected to the other computer, im on wireless using a Belkin USB adapter, so dunno if it would work.

No, it won't affect the connection except for possibly changing the IP.

It would change the internet IP.

all the computers on it will have the same internet ip

inless your on Wanadoo LiveBox like me >.< you should be fine

as the livebox updates itself, and if you unplug while it updates then your foooked, intil they send you a recovery disk >.<

But generaly you should be fine.

I unplugged the modem earlier.

1) IP Didn't change
2) Internet didn't work for something like 14 hours ¬¬

unless your on a static ip from your provider, leave it unplugged overnight. sometimes the provider keeps the IP reserved for you when you come back online incase you had a port outage or so and need the same IP.

Altho i cant see a reason why you would _need_ to change your IP.
