jus wonderin does anyone know ow many BB providers in the republic of ireland,im still on eircom.net and tbh it aint changed much since it was brought to ireland

my current BB specs

512 kb/s
8gig d/l
unlimited upload
100mb of webspace
rarly/never down on me

but it costin me €52/month

jus wonder is there another BB provider with same specs or better for cheaper

Since your with eircom you'll be able to get smart telecom

im from sligo town and atm the seems to be alot of road works goin on which i beleave is to do with BB lines being laid,not sure if this smart tele com or eircom doin work but its bin goin on for months now

Eircom is through the phone so i doubt its that

Like I said since you can get eircom bb you'll be able to get smart telecom you gotta switch to there phone service as well tho but that meant to be cheaper than eircom anyway Google for there irish website and you'll see all the infomation on there service

k signed up for smart telecom BB wont be available till may-june and i got the first 100k offer aswell of free line rental and free modem

tis €15 cheaper than eircom
4 times faster than eircom
no u/l-d/l limts from wat i read

NTL just got voted as having the worst customer support in the whole of the uk (thats out of every single company, not just ISPs), pwned.

Doesn't suprise me really, they messed me about so fking much, i stopped using them abt 2 years ago and they are still trying to charge me monthly.

Meh lol Ntl over here aint actually that bad You never wait long on there customer service and they where actually very helpful today cause I was having problems with my upload so was a friend so she rang em up and they told her Dublins proxy was acting up and gave her a new one to use

NTL suck, 1gb a day limit - i can easily use 2gb a day if i want, i would barely manage to stay within the 1gb per day limit most of the time.

NTL dont enforce that cap never have and dont plan on doing it anytime soon

They might be a bit pissed if you where downloading 2-3gigs a day but who the **** does that lol
