True but in a mainstream game where you have hundreds or even thousands of players the crippled cash crutch users are a drop in the ocean. Here it the proportion of them is bigger and seems they are in a clump rather than spread across the community.
Yes, but what can you do about that? its not as if the server is going to gain a few hundred thousand players overnight. Even with a few hundred thousand players it doesn't make the advantage the player has against other players any different, it just makes it less visible to the players but it still exists.
The community is so small identifying them isnt too tricky. Its the same ones with the same names buying andselling on every mir p server.
Perhaps.. but there is always going to be those you cant prove. Then this becomes a case of "The GM's are Biased, Banned me but not so and so"
People say they keep playing because they love the game.
Thats bull. They play because its easy to look good if you throw money about and money can cover up your uselessness until you meet someone who has learned to play.
Most of the big names arent even here. Few of this server would last long against some of the best from the past - most of them have grown up and gone away from keyboard
Not much to comment on here, people who pay are always going to have some advantage.
Another way to reduce Pay2Win is by following the route of many other mmo's by making any new content added to the game
account bound, meaning if you wasn't there in the group when the boss/mob dropped x item you cant use it.
Pro's
Makes Gold selling / Item selling more obsolete.
Encourages players to boss hunt new content for gear, rather than wait for it to show up on TM.
Cons
You would not be able to sell that gear, so casual players would suffer.
