Iam redoing the item animation only done boots so far,

Just wanted to know what you think ?

Looks very good.
Why is it animated though ?
Is it because it has added stat or is a special rare item ?
Something like this should be used to show its an added item or maybe the animation shows on mouse over ?
Are there any lag issues or is it like an animated gif ?

Waaaaay too quick imo, assuming it's going to be for some decent items (ie pretty damn rare, like the OKR on Euro [as in you rarely saw it being worn]), if it's to show the item is added, or something that will be seen rather commonly, slow it down by 10-20%, imo.

Looks pretty damn cool, that screeny does it no justice though.

V nice work lifco it just looks abit much if its going on all of the kit. I would of used the animation to say if gems/orbs have been successful if you know what I mean. perhaps change colour depending on the added stats.

I see that the code is highlighted +1 slow +2 faster, +3 in a little faster in the fast +4. . . . +7 ....+ 10

Thanks for the feedback sorry ive not posted back sooner, was away only got back lastnight.

I should of said its only for very rare item, like para etc, i was only testing on a basic kit,

The database will allow you to change the items that use the effect so you can use or dont use.

Ive made the effect a lot slower now so hopefully its cool

Should use on uber rares and items that drop with + something stat, but not if they have been orbed or gemmed, would be too common

Yer i know what you mean tom, but i want the server owners to have a good control over what uses the animation or not its all running from the item db

If was to just do + on rares would be no point in haveing db select

Want to make it so everyone will be happy and best way i think is to let them pick vir the itemdb

At somepoint not yet, il add a npc command that lets players pay for item glow on any item they like, this will be still down to the server owner if they add this to a npc or not
