Im not gonna get totally into this again but just a quick one...
Ok well for starters blizz never was a high damage spell... shouldnt be on here either.
Agree on the shared cooldown between blizz and met.
Blizz and met should root the player to the spot they have cast from... i dont get how this hasnt been sorted yet. They are risky spells.. and blizz being one on previous servers I've rarely seen thoroughly used in pvp because of how risky they were :/ On here its just a matter of spam and instantly move. Pretty sure even if blizz was interupted you would be rooted for casting ??

Unless im totally wrong in what im sayings. Not here to argue but all this crap about wizzies being "fine" is getting tiresome
Think you'll find it's mainly just you who has an issue with me razfairly easy to tell when you're running out of patience/ammunition too as you just resort to slander and insults. Rinse and repeat!
Indeed. Blizz has never been there for DAMAGE. It was always used to slow your enemy, for your guild to run in and kill them, or for you to run in and cast FF.
It used to ROOT you to the ground until the spell had finished casting. You couldn't walk away mid cast. You could only walk again after the spell had finished channeling or you were flinched.
Imagine Reincarnation ... you can't revive someone by walking away mid cast. You are left there defenceless until the spell has finished channelling.
To be honest this was changed and wizzies cried like fags as they use to get swamped out when using a powerful skill that when over 48 with MB can deal over 100s easily.
Also this idea of being able to use skills off screen.. tad bullshit isn't it?
Lads leave the flaming out please on this thread or GMs won't take it seriously and there are points made in this thread that we have all agreed are valid in one way or another [emoji4]
??????
Blizzard does lock you to the spot until the damage part of the spell is complete
BH
I think you've got this wrong BH.
Blizzard damage happens BEFORE the animation starts and thus the "root" effect doesn't actually happen at the proper time. By the time the spell has finished its damage portion, the spell animation is about halfway through. So, if this is still making sense, the root window is about 2 seconds shorter than it should be due to the damage portion/root coming far too early.
A lot of bugs with blizz/met it seems, especially the fact you can cast one after the other instantly.
You may want to do some testing, or I can provide a video for you if you'd like.
