WFW does work.

WFW works perfect for me. At me mums i have no anti virus or owt on just WFW and i get no problems with pc at all. dont slow down or nothing. Everytime i install anti virus's or other firewalls just seems to cause problems:hen:

soon as i take down my nortan fw and put up wfw i get all sorts coming in. and usually no message asking me if i want to accept it or not.

the best firewall is ZoneAlarm -> with windows firewall u cant trace what happends in ur pc. And u can`t do many things...but is useful when u have nothing.

not sure if they updated it recently been ages since i checked zonealarm
but in the past zonealarm used to be one of the crapyest firewalls out there
the fact that it didnt even bother monitoring outgoing data means you could be hacked within seconds and no evidence would be found lol

windows firewall is reasonable but then again it's made by microsoft (aka it takes them about 2-3months to make a patch for a vulnerability in their products and they dont even bother patching stuff unless there's alot of ppl spreadin gthe trick, basicaly you cant really rely on any product microsoft provides to be secure )

tbh it all doesnt matter the ppl that dont secure their server are also the ppl that dont bother reading topics like this
