Ok for some reason, people can create account, but when they go to log in is saying the accounts do not exist.

If they try making the account again says id is in use.

Any ideas why it is not working?

Have you checked in the accounts database and tried to log in yourself?

sent you a pm in reply, think serverinfo! ip is incorrect, you have used local ip, network ip.

I believe it should be local ip, net ip

same problem with either settings, cant get past RunGate either way

Someone just suggested to me server might have been hacked... I have a pretty good idea who may have done it but how would i fix it? and where the heck to look to fix the problem?

EDIT: Reinstalling everything, windows, sql, server files etc to see if that helps fix the problem.

Now instead of freezing on RunGate, it was freezing on CharSelectGate, now its freezing on RunGate again any ideas? And keeps intermittently saying that there is a socket error when i run gate30 and rungate, any ideas? keeps doing this, reli unsure what is causing the rungate to freeze :S

EDIT:

It's definitely not my firewall or my router. Disabled the firewall and disconnected modem from router and tried connecting direct to server pc, still same issue so its obviously either the connection won't allow it, or there is something wrong server side. Can't figure out what though. If someone can gimme a hand asap will reli appreciate it.
