Which suggests the site is working fine through chinese isps, yet using chinese proxies I still get timeout errors.
Maybe if someone living in korea / china can confirm?

I don't know. It's definitely not closing, they just released a new patch

The site is definitely running. I've managed to access Mir2.co.kr via a proxy, however as soon as I get past the promo page it redirects to mir2.wemade.net - which seems to fail on any proxy (maybe because of it's subdomain)

Using a proxy server link and i got onto it!
using this http://www.proxylisty.com/program/proxy-switcher-18 and one of the korean IP's im looking now little slow but its working.
Found the beta apk (Android) for Mir Mobile on a Chinese site during Lunch in work, reuploaded it to Mega if anyone wants to have a peak. Most of the content in the file is encrypted/packed but there is some stuff you can see

If ur slow, this will get u faster thn the players who play 3 feet from the server. I've tested it on mir like 2 years ago on korean and chinese servers and its golden.
