lol ignore him and his 1gig ram, no server will need 1 gig ram i asure u,, 512 is perfect, 1gig is just for those who can afford it but dont need it.

You can never have too much memory and btw it does make a difference check your processes and performance logs while server is running.

Nemesis server is currently using 667mb of ram just checked performance

I just opened a poll on the forum to see what lag people appear to be having these are the results:

I really dont know what to make from these results, they seem very widespread.

have your tried your client any other servers to check if it is to do with the clinet... and then get the server client and check if its the same difference?

u r problaly on anetwork? ther is some setting which sends a sertain amount of packets u may have it limited which causing lag? or crap pc lol i wouldnt persoanly host and play on the same pc the longer u host a server the slower the host pc gets lol so not a gd idear -.-

what means to you not set up corectly?

From past experience the game gate has 3 slides that effect speed in game if set incorrectly it can cause players to get lagging effects.

i hosted server on my computer, on my other computer i used a client with a curropt image libery, it worked grand for 5 mins then started to lag up... soon it became worse and i couldnt move... i changed the libery with a proper one and it didnt lag at all...

just look over your wils and check if they seem ok.

At this moment I am thinking something with items.

Say I have an armour in my bag, if i put the cursor over it the game litrally freezes and when i move it away every1 flies around like flash.
If i leave the cursor there then press F9 the bag will dissapear (obviously) but if I press (leaving the cursor there) F9 again the bag will not appear until I move the cursor!
This is also the same for F10.
This will be the reason that the item stats will not show because the game has frozen.

I will begin testing each wil now, exciting!

yea so i say you sould check over your items/dnitems/stateitems.wil to chcek if there is any bug towards them...

Ok tried with RZ client (very ncie GUI oO) and original lom 1.9 client and client from 1.4 P69 and all gave same problem as above (takes 5-10mins before that it is fine)

Something else i noticed is that it doesnt happen with pots ores scrolls etc items that you cant add stats to

Seems it likes playing games with me, them other items are doing the same now but seems it takes longer 4 them 2 do it.

Cant see it being a DB error since its working then not, id assume if it was DB it would just not work
