No.

Korea is a land of opportunity, if you've enough determination, a good head, and you learn the files inside out, I am sure Wemade will welcome you with open arms - everyone needs a secretary.

lol. they will NOT deal with anyone who uses an illegal version of their files, dont be stupid.

thats like saying

"hey, ive stolen from your store 100's of times and know your goods inside and out, will you employ me please"

"yes ofcourse we will, you seem to know your stuff"

you'd be surprised, I doubt they'd turn you down if you were a talented programmer who had worked with the mir files they'd prob see it as a benefit

Actually farril alot of 'hackers' people who hack the security of say a certain program.. or work with it, get offered jobs most of the times. I've read about this countless times.

For example this guy was a hacker/programmer knew security in and out got a nice job at microsoft.

Its sort of the same scenario.

Honestly if I ever wanted to go into gaming industry GN would be considered.

I wouldn't even consider going to the GN HQ to smack hober in his fat face, because it's a waste of fking money.

WeMade however are the pwn, they made mir so in my eyes they can do no wrong.

Untill they made mir 3 that is, but thats another story for another day.

I also agree that if you really are a very good programmer, and have worked with the files then they WOULD consider it, although well we dont really know how good the mir staff is ATM. do we, so we cant really say who's good enough.

P.S - pfft i dont think my post made any sense =/.

Who wants a story?... Ture story...

Dunno how long ago it was but in America i think it was some guy hacked into a bank and instead of stealing tons of money from the bank, he took a small some like 5p out of every persons account. Not enough for someone to miss but with all the accounts made him alot of money.

This guy in the end did get caught but now works in some hi up government job.

Seems like a good way to get a job.

i still dont believe wemade wld offer a job to anyone on this forum. ok so maybe good programmers might get a looking at (YKW being an example), but for making maps, adding some mobs and some new ideas, isnt going to get you anywhere.

It all depends on what your areas of expertise are, If you're a exelent programmer and showed WeMade what you have done with their files they would hire you, that is if they were really impressed and decided not to presss charged against you, which would be highly unlikely considering almost all the people on this forum don't a thing about delphi, C++, or what ever programming language is used in Mir.

Anyway enough chit-chat, If you really want to get this idea of the ground get really experienced people, such as, Milo and his chums. In anycase you would have to put some serious thought into this idea before you start putting ideas down on paper, I would sugest, New provinces, New NPC Skins, New Mob skins, New temples, Various different databases collumns (Don't know if this can be done and I have no idea what the extra collumns would be used for but it to me is a good idea.) You could also have the WTKR instances inplace, also pet shops would be a good idea because even though I have fairly good knowledge of the server files I still struggle with some aspects of the implementation of these ideas.

I think a few more things such as house rental. (You rent a house, palace or what ever for a certain price and you can hire NPC's, again I don't know if anyone has done this or if it can be put into files properly.) Also a few servers have done a mob army that attacks certain preset villages or towns such as BW MW or GTV. I would also like to see a fully translated set of 1.9 files with an expertly done tutorial that tells you almost every single thing you can do with the files, with little tips and advice on implementing them.

Also if you do this please don't make it using Ledu, or if you do, make two versions. One for Ledu and one for standard 1.9 files. I also think that they shouldn't be released as such. I think you should contribute to the forum or something before you gain the right to use them.

I know people will say stuff about the sharing community and such, but I feel that LOMCN needs to become abit more private in a way, because everytime something is released you get all these noobs that have no idea what they're doing. Even if this doesn't get of the ground I will bug you MrSam and you will do this. It is a great idea and should be given some deep thought and consideration before it is thrown in the paper bin.

i believe the whole point of him putting this idea forward was so it would benefit the whole community.

even though i agree that this community isnt private anymore, and that people want everything on a plate as soon as they register. i dont agree with not sharing.

i could names dozens of people who are able to make this kind of addon, but i dont see any of them working together on 1 idea for a complete project.

About the monsters attacking certain villages, that is simply done using the @mission command (i think that is the command).

a way to automate it through a series of npc commands would be good though, like for quests. example..

"sorry, you didnt bring me the candle in time, i have set loose my hen from serpent valley, you better start running as its heading this way"

you get the picture...

Yes i think that is possible with the 1.9 files the NPC's can use GM commands.
