The map editor that I and Akaras improved is not friendly or capable enough? Maybe the one from github is not that much better than what it was when we got it back in 2016, check out this resources link above here

Also, I believe it is possible to build maps with Far's map editor and then open and re-save them in the Crystal map editor to make them work with mir2
In all honesty, its been a little while since I have tried it so will have to take a peek at it when I have time, as I'd love to do map building.

It wouldn't work for our server as all our tilesets aren't the default ones but going forward (if I ever get some time) I always enjoyed building maps and such for games.

More Patches have been applied.
We're currently working on fixing a few of the high priority bugs that we have outstanding

We are then going to look to implement features we wanted to test prior to live

We are also consistently refining how the game progression feels

Skills Progression (especially since closed Beta) has become a lot more player friendly, still some tweaks and discussions being had but it doesn't feel anywhere near as punishing to get skill levels.

And

we are creating Sets for the standard items we have in game; these are obtainable only from Legend Monsters, Sub Bosses, Bosses and in some cases crafting.
This is to add a bit more viability and enjoyment to boss hunting



As always, thank you everyone who's been testing so far! people who are or aren't reporting info are still all giving us valuable insights into the server prior to Live!

As long as you use standard libraries, it would work. Just launch the editor inside the client, so it can use your client's libraries.

Autopacher won't patch, do I have correct IP or is the patch server down?

Patch server isn't down, we sacked off all the libraries as we have no default maps, I can ping you over what your ini should be later :)

Many fixes have been applied (sorry not posting here as they happen quite quick and are minor)

The Patcher link has been updated now so no further patcher issues will happen.




One big thing is skill progress has been overhauled for a much more enjoyable experience and less punishing for the earlier skill levels.
Crafting books is also available, (however wont be fully accessible until Secret peak and Magic square come live this week)

Secret Peak and Magic Square are going live in the beta this week (content drops) followed by other changes.


We are looking at the following after feedback:

  1. Making it so bosses can no longer level, the expectation for higher level boss drops can be skewed too high (a legendary boss should drop amazing at times but if it doesn't it feels crap).
  2. Enhancing boss drops
  3. Making bosses in general harder (with raw stat boosts and AI additions/enhancements)
  4. Increasing spawns in many areas
  5. updating all minimaps with locations and PoIs

There is many more things in the pipeline and live date will be announced soon!

🐲 Patch Notes – Major Monster Update


Release Date: 24/04/2025
Reboot Time: TBC [ETA 3:30PM GMT)


Greetings adventurers!
We’ve rolled out a massive update focused on monsters, PvE combat balance, loot, and progression. Read on for all the changes!​




⚔️ Monster Scaling & Progression

  • Monster stats and EXP now follow a new progression curve rather than being randomly set by zone.
    This means each area follows a steady progression, when you get to a "progression curve jump - basically when you should hit a "power spike" the scalings ramp up but then those dungeons follow a steady progression
  • Difficulty of monsters of every area increases by +10% per floor (and +10% exp).
    • Example: In a 3-floor dungeon, the KR will be +20% tougher than 1F mobs. (1F=100% | 2F= 110% | KR = 120%)
  • Bosses and Sub-Bosses are now manually balanced and do not scale with floor difficulty.
  • All Province mobs have been rebalanced.
  • Monsters only spawn at either their Base Level or Legendary variant. (no longer are there level 1/2/3/4/5/6 mob variants)
  • Legendary monsters have received significant stat boosts: more HP, Defense, and Damage.



🧪 Monster Ability Changes


Several monsters now have new on-hit effects to add more danger and variation to combat:
  • Scorpion – Green Poison
  • Drake – Slow
  • Behemoth – Red Poison
  • Coiled Priest – Red & Green Poison (Toxic)
  • Corrupted Berserker – Bleed
  • Furbolg Guardian – Red Poison
  • Beast Scrapper – Bleed
  • Feljord monsters – Chance to Slow



👑 Boss Adjustments


📉 EXP Changes

  • All bosses now give less EXP when killed.

⚙️ Stat Adjustments


Many bosses have had their HP, defenses, and attack stats tweaked. Notable changes include:
  • InsectQueen HP Increase, AS Increase, Min defence lowered
  • HogEmperor HP Increased, AC Lowered, MAC lowered, DC Lowered
  • HulkingGeneral HP Increased, AC Lowered, MAC lowered, Max DC Lowered
  • FrostPrince HP Increased AC Lowered, MAC Lowered, Min DC Lowered, Max DC Increased, MS Increased
  • Cerberus HP Increased MaxAC/MAC lowered, DC Adjusted, AS increased
  • QueenoftheOceann HP Increased, Defenses Increased, Damage increased
  • OgreWarrior HP Increased, DC adjusted, MS and AS increased

💰 Drop Table Updates


We’ve boosted drop rates!
  • Higher chance of rarer item drops
  • Quality Orbs, Elixirs, Bene Oils, and Set Item Variants now included in drop tables
  • Legendary Variant & Bosseswith updated drops so far:
    • Ogre Warrior ➝ Ogre Legendary mobs
    • Frost Prince ➝ Frost Legendary mobs
    • Brittle Ravager ➝ Brittle Legendary mobs
    • Cerberus ➝ Magma Legendary mobs
    • Insect Queen ➝ ForestV Legendary mobs
    • Forest Warlock ➝ MossCave Legendary mobs

🛠️ Gameplay & QoL Improvements


  • Teleporters now visually reflect map difficulty tiers.
  • Removed: Dragon-Slayer Recipe, a random unused map.
  • Added: TundraSword Recipe, new speech for Spider Province Chief.
  • Flame Dis now correctly awarded at level 47.
  • Despawn Timers:
    • Floor items: 5 minutes (was 10)
    • Player-dropped items: 15 minutes (was 30)
  • Catchup EXPincreased:
    • Now 3% per level (was 1%)
    • Cap raised to 60% (was 50%)
  • Creature Pets now level up slightly slower.



🧴 Consumables & Items

  • New Items:
    • SuperHP / SuperM (S-XL)
    • Small & Regular Instant Elixirs
  • Level requirements added to stronger potions
  • Costs now applied to Amulets and Poison
  • Blizzard / Meteor Strike – cooldowns added (temporarly)
  • Effigies now stack
  • Bene Oil stack size increased
  • Pickup Pets(Other filter) now grab:
    • Books
    • Cards
    • Medals



💍 Item Requirement Tweaks

The following rings now have reduced level requirements:

  • Black Ring – Level 34 (was 40)
  • Serpent Ring – Level 34 (was 40)
  • Pearl Ring – Level 34 (was 40)
  • All Set Variants have also been adjusted

We’ve made a round of changes to SubBosses to make them feel less punishing and more engaging across the board. Encounters should feel more fair and dynamic—no more getting flattened the moment you step in. Here’s what’s new:

Well after what is a life time, we can finally announce we are going LIVE September 19th 2025!


We haven't updated anyone much on progress but it has been constant, we have been adding QoL, fixes, tons and tons of new AIs (to make combat much more versatile), other features and updates as well.



We will be having a PvP Brawl at some point just to help refine some damage numbers but its all been tested any there is nothing overtuned to cause issues.

We still have bits to do but were in a state where we can plug a date in for LIVE!

Bahh you folded at the first bit of pressure certain players gave you to change things to their liking? your last server went flat quick not long after that. Will you be bending the server to cater for your donators again this time? They quit even when you gave in and changed half the server for them. You went from a daily uc of 150+ to 8 players in the space of a week

I think you have the wrong server, we've never had such a steep decline in UC, nor were we influenced by donators.

I'd agree that we needed to have a more thorough look at feedback on balance suggestions however in terms of this we will require more info from users to deem their feedback "worth investigating" which will be a behind the scenes process, if this makes sense?

Server will be up and down and accessible, aye, but its not actively On all the time (mainly due to work being carried out)
