In all honesty, its been a little while since I have tried it so will have to take a peek at it when I have time, as I'd love to do map building.The map editor that I and Akaras improved is not friendly or capable enough? Maybe the one from github is not that much better than what it was when we got it back in 2016, check out this resources link above here
Also, I believe it is possible to build maps with Far's map editor and then open and re-save them in the Crystal map editor to make them work with mir2
It wouldn't work for our server as all our tilesets aren't the default ones but going forward (if I ever get some time) I always enjoyed building maps and such for games.

More Patches have been applied.
We're currently working on fixing a few of the high priority bugs that we have outstanding
We are then going to look to implement features we wanted to test prior to live
Secret Peak
Magic Square
Challenge Tower (maybe)
We are also consistently refining how the game progression feels
Skills Progression (especially since closed Beta) has become a lot more player friendly, still some tweaks and discussions being had but it doesn't feel anywhere near as punishing to get skill levels.
And
we are creating Sets for the standard items we have in game; these are obtainable only from Legend Monsters, Sub Bosses, Bosses and in some cases crafting.
This is to add a bit more viability and enjoyment to boss hunting
As always, thank you everyone who's been testing so far! people who are or aren't reporting info are still all giving us valuable insights into the server prior to Live!
