The guy has literally given us the best/most stable files for mir2/mir3, without him (and far ect) the private server community would be long dead. - Doesn't matter if he released them out of the kindness of his heart or sold them, he still put the time into making them.

No-one in their right mind would deal with this toxic cesspit of a community without the promise of some financial gain, he's perfectly entitled to sell whatever the **** he wants, your level of entitlement is insane.

Yeah, he makes some bone headed balance/design decisions, but good developers don't always make good game designers. there is a reason they are two separate job roles at companies. But no-one can deny he is one of the best Mir developers we have and his contributions to the private server community have been substantial.


He's probabaly spent literal months making this server and people begrudge him making money of it? Like what the ****, makes no sense to me. We really need to stop demonizing server creators who make money, its capitalism and it drives innovation and without it, we would still be on 1.4 files.

Times have changed, without financial incentive there wouldn't still be a forum. Wanting to be paid or fairly compensated for something you sunk 100's of hours into is not wrong. Especially since Mir servers are very lucrative. It would be a completely different story if they wasn't, but the fact is they are, there is literally £10,000s a month being spent on this game across all servers.

If my memory serves, Hells was a whale wizard who tried (and failed) to dispute his payments, the reason why he did was because firewall and tempest got a nerf.

If I remember the nerf was reducing the maximum duration if you constantly spammed the skill (Every cast would reduce the duration on other firewall by 2 seconds).

To the best of my knowledge, damage wasn't nerfed
