Carebear is removing the challenge, both from players and mobs, from a situation normally a boss but also from maps and in general. You killing a boss that can't hurt you is carebear. The people who are supposed to be there, the lvl 20-25s that the cave is designed for, also can't hurt you. Sure another high level can come and kill you, but that's just exacerbating the situation.
Yes the drops are worthwhile, no one is saying they aren't. However they are for low levels not 40+s. Gem making is for everyone or it would have a level limit on it. The runes can also be put into items, which due to the drop rate on low level items are more likely to be put in sub 20 items than 40+ items. The BIO is used to refine, which amazing happens to be used mostly to refine lvl30- weps, because high level weps are too expensive to break. So yeah, the main two ghoul drops are mainly used for sub 30 items.
Lvl 40s just steal the low levels content entirely, make it completely trivial, and profit from it. And the general response of level so you can do it to new players is completely toxic to the community. This is not the way you attract new players.
