I ment offical l2, private servers are crap.

They are going after the "official" servers only. I don't think they can touch the L"J emulator servers. They went for L2xtreme because thet started taking in a fair amount of money, which basically served as a giant beacon of light screaming "sue me."
The Ragezone server isn't a 1000+ players thing, so the chances are they won't give a **** about it, and will expect it to close from the "scare tactics" if its running L2J then its relatively safe.
On topic: I played Lineage2 official for about 6 weeks. Got a level 25 Wziard with top grade D items (best items you can get till 40) which I stole from my guild at the time (years ago). Far far to hardcore for me, as I dont have the time to dedicate to it.

Bartz is a bit laggy for me.
The ping is usually 160 - 170 whereas Hinde is 97-107.
My main is fierybint on Hind and I just made her some stormbringer*stormbringer +4 duals :P
Broke the bank so now I'm crafting mats in giran.
Tbh I'm a bit of a solo artist on L2. Thats not to say I wont do hunts but Mir guild politics drives me up the wall and L2 is a fantastic escape from all the scummy tos*ers on Dragon.
