LOMCN Bandwidth?

I dont see why the bandwith useage is getting used up with only 27 users browsing the forum maybe this is another cause to the comunitys smallness fair play i would be expecting the bandwidth message if there was what 50+ people browsing but 27 ¬_¬ surly you would run such forum on a unlimited bandwidth?

You can't really get ''unlimited'' bandwidth....

Unlimited monthly/yearly bandwidth.. well you can get that, however it's not really unlimited as the bandwidth is limited therefore the monthly/yearly useage is also limited to whatever your speed is times bandwidth?

There is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth.

Lomcn never gives a message about too much bandwidth, The message is when the server cpu is at ~80% which is usually when i do something else with *my* server.

I hosted lomcn for free LONG before i ever decided to put any way of getting money back for it. As neither you nor zidio actually pay me tho, You cant comment.

its on a shared server, the message is based upon the server usage.. so if another site has members downloading etc, it will make it come up on here more often, its more of a poor admin tweek then anything..

Martyn your wrong, DF hosts lomcn on his own server now, its not exactly shared just used for his personal stuff, So this poor admin tweak you speak of is crap.

And also the fact it has nothing to do with bandwidth... its so DF's server CPU doesnt get too overloaded.

I'm locking this thread anyways its in the wrong section, try using questions and complaints forum in future Zidio.
