LOMCN MIR - Inerested?

I know its been tried and it has successfully failed many many times before, but is anyone interested in bringing up a LOMCN Mir Server?.

I'm just researching at the moment to see if we have a willing team and an audience.

Please post any responses/interests here.

I would be interested in playing a LOMCN server i bet it would be the best

surely if your going to make a lomcn team, you should atleast have the approval of the lomcn team, and not just have a random team of people who know nothing and just call its the 'lomcn server'.

no offence, u may b a member with a changed name, or an old member. but from your post it seems like your a random member wanting to claim a server and call it lomcn server. atleast last time part of the lomcn team attempted to put together a server.

edit: just checked who you previously were, and although you've been a member for a while, your still not a part of the lomcn team and so i dont know how u cld start claiming a lomcn server without any approval of the team itself?

Hmmm, as much as i would like to see a server made by LOMCN, i don't think it would work out

And Farphit is correct, you should get permission to start a server called "LOMCN". Or maybe ask someone from LOMCN staff to join your team?

The only difference between an lomcn server and a regular server is jsut the name it's called by.

yeah it wld bring members, but i see the oly reason ppl wanting to make a lomcn server is so they can be credited of making a good server.

why not just rename a stable server to lomcn server? wld work just the same.

lol how do you get MentaL and Scorp involved? They both run thier own servers and they aint no LomCN team since i last checked.

Get them togther to make a server and i will gurantee it would be good. but Milo release's things and BH has a server.

Richens owns at maps, Sooden has some great item ideas not seen or heard from Toxic for a while and Milo and BH know the ins and outs of the files and can make them reach thier full potential. Get EvilEvil back aswell and it would be one kick ass team.

But it wont happen.

Why do people insist on calling me scrop

Anyway theres no 1 person I see dedicated enough to do it, the ones that are hav their own server already.
For it to work youd need the 1 dedicated person to be in charge of everything and only recruit people to do work for him.
Groups start to present conflict of interest and things start to get sticky.

Anyway oO afaik theres no1 in the team, free and dedicated enough to keep a server online 24/7 and a server run by someone not in the team doesnt really deserve to be able to call it a LomCN server

imo they are the only ppl marginly good at servers that u mentioned (excluding SCROP and mental who are currently running a successful one each), and not currently running or making a server. even hazuki, milo and BH are running one.

excluding them its just richens, and richens does maps for other servers aswell.

no offence sent, but your attempting your first server, i dont think u cld b classed 'worthy' for a lomcn server. you also just mensioned the people you like, not people who are good at development.

having EE in the team has been a fault befor, mayb not on his behalf, but last lomcn server he organised flew off and changed to merge in with DAO.

TBH it has happened many times, and failed, lomcn never actualy had a server up. and thats a good reason, this place is to help the cummonity... so brining up a server would just sepaerate it a bit more. how can the team help others when they want a higher user count... ect ect, this is just my way of thinking.....

A LOMCN server wouldnt be possible. Noone is commited enough to give it the attention the name deserves. I would imagine, that all the people mentioned so far have either other projects or other obligations keeping them busy.

An LOMCN server will not work
maybe an LOMCN surported server (but still cant see that working)

Nice to see Milo and myself on most peoples list but we really are not that special we just have an understanding of the files
