I mostly play in the mornings and weekday nights, never weekends really so it could be higher friday/sat

6am-1pm roughly 80 people
1pm-4pm roughly 120
4pm-10pm about 200
10pm-2am 120
2am-6am 80 again

Is it me or has the population of the server basically become the same as Ace did by this point?

Don't mean anything bad about what I'm saying, just seems weird :/

Nothing new to be honest, People who are new to Mir leave and the old school Mir die hard remain lol but 100-140 is still very healthy

The updates that have been released are rather redundant tbh, a cave that is completely useless as it just gives low level players another option of hunting grounds when there was no need for it in the first place, numa is pretty cool and hell is reserved for 45+ which a very low % of the server can actually access. As for refining, seems a lot of time was invested into refining (apparantly) and it seems to be similar to every other server? I dont know what they changed but regardless, its not playing a big part in the game. As for gemming im sure most people will tell your its flawed whenever you try to create numerous gem's e.g. 10 gems on 70% success rate and 7 out of the 10 fail.

User count seems to be dropping more daily and the people who I thought would continue to play for a long time are also beginning to drop off, Probably going to leave myself very soon as I feel there is a great lack of content and in turn this has led to a lack of fights/competition, not to mention the economy is dredful, mainly the only things selling is bene's and plat, had freezing/storm gems for days that would not sell for more than 4m lol.

Not a rage or flame thread just giving my two cents on how the server feels from an average player - baring in mind my complaints about lack of content may also be relevant to the fact I've played from opening day.

what do u exspect when ppl r useing cheats and getting away with ppl dont wanna play a server with cheats thats whats happening

Interesting you say that, as up until now, no server has ever truly been able to catch and ban cheaters as efficiently as Chronicles has, barring maybe Bon's server (but even then "Poz" plagued that server with cheats too). Heroes/TD files are riddled with cheats (that you don't even need to buy) that can't be stopped and bans were based on speculation.

Not sure what world you think we live in, but not a single Mir server (or any game for that matter) will ever be cheat-free, because there's always people willing to pay for them to be made. The best anyone can do is create an effective anti-cheat system, and make the cheaters risk losing everything they've invested their time in by catching them when they slip up.

Population of Mir always hits a barrier where you get the occasional new player, but mostly it's just the die-hard Mir fans left over. Hitting 200 UC is very healthy for a private Mir server currently. If I recall it's what Bon's servers seemed to hover around during its peak.

TL;DR if you're smelling **** everywhere you go, perhaps you should look at your own shoes.

Yer and ace was much more fun to play than this..
Tho i still hold out hope, once you accept that your actually testing an extended beta, its not tooo bad...

People bitched and complained about Ace more than they do with Chronicles. We (I) certainly didn't handle some things well on Ace but every single patch release was a shitstorm. A lot of it was the teams fault, rushing in fixes, changing skills daily to try get them right. But for everyone who complained about a skill being changed another complained that we weren't doing enough. I can't believe people were actually enjoying themselves unless you consider complaining 'fun'

Working on Ace was the most draining thing I've ever done in life and isn't something I'll ever allow myself to do again

I don't understand half of what your saying?? ppl say gemming is flawed cos 7 out of 10 fail and the rate is 70%... lol it doesn't matter if you tried making 1000 or just 2 its the same rate everytime you craft it doesn't think "oh you have failed 6 in a row better make one work now" 70% success is high enough more will craft than fail imo its perfect.

And Content??? no idea why ppl go on about not enough content!! content is not the problem at all! there is more than enough caves/bosses to go around loads we don't need even more content!! we need the current content fixed/improved Lost ship is completely broken atm so that's not in-game atm, class balance and more skills available for everyone that's the main problem!! and more fun PVP things like example more walls wars there needs to actually be rewards for holding the walls, bring OKS back in Oma cave and make it an extremely good dropper so everyone swarms to it for big fun guild wars things like that is missing from this server imo.
