With the boost to base ac/amc on armour, the low-level caves do almost 0 damage. You can hunt in BDD 1st, or ZT4th with medium armour for example and rarely use medium pots.

Leveling up to 33 to get into PB or higher level caves is extremely boring because of the lack of any danger, even the sub boss's hit you for 10 damage.

I would suggest lowering the stats on low-level armors of buffing the mobs to try to make the low levels a bit more fun for people.

Up to past bichon now and the mobs do good damage to my group even in 40 armors, so I think the problem is isolated to low-level caves.

Making 0-40 slower is a terrible idea. More than enough people are level 49/50 for 0-40 to take a week max solo by now.

Agree With Adv here, it shouldn't take long to get near 40 its daunting getting on a server to see getting 40 solo is hard and people are 50+ on rankings. Maybe try forbidden provience if you feel your not taking enough damage? I can assure you will take damage here.

I didn't mean make it take longer, the leveling speed is fine. Just rebalance the mobs so they actually make you pot. It's literally impossible(if your not afk) to die in low level caves with medium armor, a shop item which you can get at level 8.

I play mir for fun, I derive that fun from risk/reward. If there no risk there's no fun/reward.

Caves like mins, min mines, stone temple, bug cave, insect cave I visited just once on my way to 40, couldn't bring myself to go back because of how boring it was with zero risks. I ended up mass luring in BDD 1f and hunting deep in ZT till I got 33 and could go PB, totally skipping a big percentage of the games content. I think I skipped over more caves then there are end game caves, which seems very wasteful.

Problem with you have it's less rewarding for your character to hunt in a harder place. Your EPH (Exp Per Hour) would be lower fighting harder mobs and you'd spend more gold than you'd make.. So besides it being a challenge to level in certain places it would be a full on downgrade for your character.

You want hard mode, level a Taoist only using Base Dress, Wooden Sword and no spells. You want Nightmare mode, level a Wizard no Base Dress, No Wooden Sword, No Spells.

It's not about a hard mode, it's 5+ caves are filled with hens and low levels are asked to hunt there. Yes, they have different skins/drops but they are still hens. There should be a minimum difficulty to these caves for the level of the char's they are aimed at.

This has nothing do to with EPH, as people power gaming will ignore those caves anyways and go onto more efficient stuff as soon as its viable.

You can get damage in low level cave. My noobie lvl 20 wiz has med armour and a skell helm on but the special mobs that spawn take a decent chunk of hp per hit.

I don't get it, people want caves with mobs that don't hurt?

people want different things

i personally enjoying trash mass mobs, without burning a bag of suns a min, I was building an agil kit but lack of ore and stones from the community drops/selling I've hit a wall.

its nice to be able to sacrifice damage and run defence to utilise skills chm ba for example.

only playing a warrior currently
