M2Server.exe CPU Usage: 99% Anyone Help?

HI sorry to bring up such a subject but erm, Im getting annoyed with my mir server i run it as soon as one player connects (No Lag) But my pc goes crazy M2Server takes 398,966 Kb Mem And 99% CPU, Does anyone know how to fix this? If so please let me know.

Well im using a Pentium 4 3.02 Ghz System, Then i decided wait this is my gaming pc! So i dont want all the windows open. So i moved it to a old pc 1 gb ram 701 mhz system Amd Athlon. Ive seen a Mir srver running fine on 500mhz So i dont see why its doing it to me.

The system was only just started it happens as soon as 1 user connects NO lag in game but i dont want my processor to fry! As the fans even idicate its heating it up.

well not really the processor thats at fault you need more ram cause the less ram you using it paging it to disk which puts strain on the cpu really 1gig to 2gb of ram would be recommended.

Well its got as much as a system can have took your idea put a extra 2 512's in 2 gb ram No Difference.

Yeah the client is running from a laptop as on the same pc as host can cause strain. Ive tried a lot of server files etc Im using ones that are 3 years old. I dont know if i have a silly m2server.exe or something. I found out its the mongen.txt nothing in and its 0% cpu LOL Ive tried to limit my mongen but i am no good that that sort of thing.

just go through the mongen and cut down the amount of mobs so say it has amount of 80 just half it do it for each area should help

Yep thats the one, just ramboost regularly when your server is running, (Dont try to free up too much otherwise it crashes)
