I will discuss the Hunt Gold Cap again with Shane, however It's not possible to change it for this reboot.
with the addition of a strong boss like Icetiger, it would be nice to increase group to at least 30 ppl, SP made 2 groups to kill and only 1 got to drop, does not seem fair to me.
mhh i have to admit 3 huntgold limit seems excessive low
i hit the huntgold limit just running to sw to get a weapon out of refine![]()
makes the server a tiny bit on the edge of p2w now
would have prefered seeing it go to 10 or something
(also means going mining is totaly out of the question now lol)
What does reducing the hunt gold cap actually do? It doesnt deter people from botting as they always earn the same as before, it only really hurts the regular player?

can huntgold be set per map?
Mines = 3 - easy /fast to tt and get back to reset.
Lair/JT4th+/ BP4th/ MysteryShip etc = 30 - these places mean you are actually going somewhere to do something for a longish period of time..meaning 3hunt gold is a bit pants.
I love refining so I mine a lot, now I feel like I just can’t mine while being semi afk. Ditto with kinda being semi afk while playing at work, feel like overall I will just end up playing less.
My question is, was this done to counter bitters or was it done to try to force the average player to donate more?

What correlation am i missing between botting and hunt gold?
If you are botting you gain 1 HG per minute, before you would still gain 1 HG per minute, bots never did benefit from the inactive stacking... so the change has nothing to do with bots?
They usually farm ants with macros so they will be uneffected by this (rt, hit, wait few sec > repeat), while the normal players are (if u need to get to a place say F5 and rt's don't work, u will have to stop kill 3 mobs thn run again and so on. Until now by the time we've reached the destination (for example F5 or F6) we already had like 15 gamegold waiting to be collected when we start killing.
I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I can play like this, I`ll just adjust my playstyle and stop every couple mins to kill 1-2 mobs. I`m just saying that it affects us more thn the ppl who're exploiting and hunt caves like ants and fleas rt'ing about and killing ****.
They could have like 1 guy semi-afk watching over 3-4 PC's @ the same time, hence their reaction is slower.
