In Frost Village you can use RT without penalty but Geo Manipulation and Teleport will disable potions for 4 and 12s respectively which makes no sense to me. After the new round of changes -> "interchange, Beckon, Teleportation, Geomanipulation, Summon Puppet and Dance of Swallows can no longer be used on restricted maps" I would asume that you can no longer use them in Frost Village.

Since it’s an RT map I would assume that the spells still work with the current restriction on pots remaining in place.

So by restricted maps, it means any map you cannot RT on? Good news if so. Was a bit silly that everyone has to run whilst wizzies can just RT using their tele skill.

Yes, this is what it means. I agree, Wiz could tele to KR and kill bosses before anybody else even reaches the KR.

Test Server Update

That was ok as it was... the penalty on pot usage did the spam on that spells was not possible but now.. it's like doesn't allow defiance or celestial light on that floors.

On jp for example, a warrior can run 6f to kr with defiance and use 0 pots.

With mage without geo a mob can para you, 8 mobs get around you and just die because you can no geo out of this (not sure if happens the same with assassins and dance of shallows).

You get the idea..

I would test it first, a full MR build wiz (I'm only level 47) can run all the way to BT KR on a handful of pots. You can run through JP/BP with only getting para'd maybe one in 20 times.

All three of those areas are really viable at my level with MR build.

You can buy potions from Sabuk and Mud Wall to safeguard against repeatedly getting turned to stone.

I'm pretty lazy about leveling up too, can you give level 30+ an exp buff as well, even though i dont deserve it

I tried Banya Temple and Black Palace after the AC/MR changes and I gotta say that it was just like touching a boob for the first time, satisfying as ****. Banya Temple exp isn't really in line with the difficulty from floor 5 onwards but I don't really mind it, I'm not going there to get exp but to look for Wyvern Bracelet/farm gold.

Also, props for allowing the use of geo manipulation in frost village without penalty, leveling in there felt good.

Level 60 ISH wiz can get enough Mr with hermit change without getting paraed

If a Wiz goes with MR hermit, that mage will not hit the boss for sure..

Anyway, even with mr build (items, not hermit), Taos, Sins and Wizs will get hits from mobs, and wars not. That means in the example of JP, that 3 clases will do 6f "walking" (stopping each hit they receive), and wars will do 6f "running", so wars will always arrive first with that change.

I don't care so much on lose RT as mage, but I thinks that needs an exaustive testing, because otherways it will benefit wars only, one more time..

The change on Geo, Dance of Shallows, Interchange.. It seems no sense for me, why wanna do that change?

Wtf is this 2-2 hermit stat bollocks?

Warriors will be redundant surely?

If i had to choose now between a 60 war, or a 60 wiz, i would choose wiz everytime.

Surely these changes will have a massive impact on pve balance? Seems like a plaster to fix a stab wound

I'm a Wiz!

Yeah Warriors are pretty redundant on this server anyway, they have comparable HP to a Sin or a Wiz with shield up. Easier to balance 3 classes than 4 anyway :D

If you want to hit like a wet noodle, sure, go for 50-50mr as a wiz... It's useful for farming lower level zones, nothing more, nothing less. Or is it wrong for wizards to stack MR to not get hit or barely hit in MUCH lower lvl zones?

Im gonna go out on a limb here......your a wizard yeah?

Actually, i'll hold judgement on this untill we see it in action properly, doesnt seem overly OP on my relatively low level wizard (Level 48)

This should be removed...

.... because

Can't expect the dev team to be psychic, have to throw them a bone and offer some direction as to why it needs reverting or what the negative impact on the game is as a result of this change.
