Market Place deaths

The other day there were Guards in the Market place now they are not in there and several people have been killed in there.
As it is a safe zone it is clear wizards are taking pets in there and letting them untame.

Is there not a way pets can be excluded from entering the Market Place map?

There were pots around a dead wizard this morning, so im assuming not.

Alternatively nothing more than an accident?.

I know all too well I've left pets around plenty of times before that have untamed and killed players when I've forgotten about them)

end of day you shouldnt drop in there anyway and should be guards...people used to untame on people all the tame. it shouldn't be a bannable offence lol.

Untamed pets(or just generally mobs) will not attack stalls anyway as they are seen as an npc. They will only attack people afk lvling spells or, just being afk, which makes it no different to any other sz?

You make a good point :P, Wasn't aware they don't target stalls.

This, it's something we tested before server launch to ensure that Pets and Mobs wouldn't/couldn't kill Stalls. This would of caused far more issues when we didn't have a dedicated map for them.

Regarding them killing AFK players yeah this is standard to SZ's but if there are no guards in there later I'll throw some in

your only classed as stall if you exit mir though , if you go afk and leave client on = you can be killed.

I already said on another post, mir without risk isn't mir. No risk is for babies or console games. Why go afk in market place anyway. I am sure you have pleanty other things to do, this is unimportant.

The place is so rammed with NPCs that you can mistakenly click the guard and end up dying ( if I remember correctly ). Some invisible guards or something.

I do recommend that if you're running a Stall you should just exit that client. You can still log in and play another Character (On the same Account even) you just need to make sure you Exit the game not log out or the Stall won't set up for Offline.

But why would I do something that makes sense? I'd rather yell at you and complain and demand a fix.

the problem with guards is there are certain people (wars) that like to show off and kill them, so maybe the guards should be made impossible to kill, that way it brings back the use of PK town/area and red players can not just stand around in town safe.

Please return the Guards to the Market Place. Not only are people going in there with pets but also Reds are taking advantage of a safe place.
