Right this is geting a joke I went today for 10 hours geting a cool 26 admant ore but only geting 7 plat only one over 12 to see a guild member go in for 2 hours and get 6/7 all over pur 12 a few close to 20 pur I've tryed every thing full gale kit body luck 5 nothing ppl say use more than one acoount tryed that but my laptop can't handle it this has to be sorted out

It's all luck and chance. I don't even think your body luck has any effect on mining.
You can mine for an hour and get 4 plat, you can then go 20 hours with no plat at all. I sometimes need Adamantine ore, and mine for a good 3/4 hours and get 1 piece... You've just got 28 which is a hell of a lot. Swings and round abouts.

RNG is Random. Some days I get maybe 1 piece of plat or none at all, others I get loads. I currently have the same problem as Rev, where I have 7 pieces of plat and no Adamantine. Other days it's the other way around.
No offence spawn but isn't this the third thread on this now? Its nothing more then rng and you just having some piss poor luck, I know its a pain but that's how it is.
If it makes you feel better I'm on bene 31 now still trying to get luck 3 on my mace, they work fine but the rng is killing me.

Mining is Entirely RNG - Mir has always been this way and probably always will.

For better luck use bene's on your pickaxe! make it luck +7 and you will always pull plat out the walls:P'

I dont think money should be that easy to make anyway, the market was being flooded with gems and powerful gemmed items.
If you go hunting you only make between 100-200k per trip on armours and misc items and i can spend 1-2hours hunting before going back to town(for others can be alot short), so unless you have a nice item drop you dont make money that easly, so i dont see why should mining make you rich with little effort or time invested?
I think 1 or 2 p12+ plats aday is a good income(if you have mined all day), anymore then that your just lucky

Only euro had balanced mining, usa went downhill in that regard and its all due to exploitation by unscrupulous players that we can't have good mining experience anymore. :'(
Because if like here, you make it pretty rare to get ore, you shouldn't forget that mining is fairly dull way to play a game and that's why it needs to be more rewarding than if you spent that time killing mobs while leveling. Because at the end of the day, that is less boring and even if you have nothing itemwise to show for it, at least you got some experince behind your belt. In mining if you aren't lucky, you pretty well wasted the time.
I know I never felt that bad while leveling that if I got nothing but experience points for few days, that I would stop doing that. I don't mean those time when you get sick of leveling -.-
But I know that if for several days I didn't have much any luck while mining, I did abandon mining. I don't think your argument stands.
