Heroes Mini map help? bit of a weird one

The first thing to do is check you have the right map number set for the map in the mini map text file.

Yes I do. It''s the right map that displays when I click 'V' to enlarge it. But it just displays nothing when it's on the smallest map setting, the one you just use normally

Unless heroes uses some special zoom in / zoom out code, it still uses a big map and minimap text file.
They are two files that point to two different images on the mmap file. Check the number in your text file relates to the correct number in mmap.wil.
If its blank, chances are its pointing to an empty placeholder or, an outside chance the placements are so far off the edge that any image simply isn't visible on screen.
