Lagless? I would say 256DDR/SDRAM, 1GHZ processor (preferably AMD ;) ), 64MB of video RAM, a 1MB connection. That is enough IMO.

Yeh, dont really need a 1mb line though. Broadband 512k would do fine.
Well, i think 1MB is basically the most you will need when playng mir, 512k would sometimes be a bit low IMO.

well I just logged into my server on this PC
P2 233mhz
128KB ram
its my work pc

and its loaded fine and can play away
and tbh if this system can run it then any system can (apart from Mac)

saying that this system is good for its ages and she still runs very well for her age

Why, it's capable of reaching 60kbps... so why would that be a "bit slow" :P

When i first started playing Mir, was running of a 128k line no lag at all :).

First played on 64k ISDN, had no lag either, but then again, i probably didn't know what lag was back then lol.....

u can play it mostly on anytinh, if it is onlything running, meaning no crap in the background, can play it on 56k modems lag free, i used to play it and still do play it on 56k lag free! if u are lagging on it, its due to a bad connection or phone line :P not due to it being 56k :P

As people say, you don't need much.

ATM I'm using:

256MB RAM
1.47GHz
8MB Graphics
300k NTL Connection

And I get no lag at all (inless I'm downloading or have a lot of programs open).
