hi guys i dont have a system password set up so how do i set up SQL?

u could go setup a system password by going to the control panel and clicking "User Accounts" then "Change an Account" and add a password from there.

well lookin harder at your pic it looks like u have all the settings all wrong >.<

a mo i will find in the read me for u and post it . 2 secs

Use these settings

For LoginSvr.exe

DSN LOM2Account
ID your login(sql)I use "sa" for ease
Password the password u set for sql
DSN for PC LOM2Manage
ID for PC your login(sql)I use "sa" for ease
Password the password u set for sql


DBSvr.exe

Name Servernamehere
DSN LOM2Game
ID your login(sql)I use "sa" for ease
Password the password u set for sql
Account DB LOM2Account
Address Your IP
Map File Path D:\mirserver\Mir200\Envir

I get this error.
When doing ODBC part, it wouldnt accept my user and password, get an error come up, so i used the top selection, something to do with admin i think.

have u edited and ran the SqlMir2.reg posted earlier in the thread. It helps alot

right click on the icon in your task bar and click MSSQL Server - Start .
(hopefully)
i get message saying
An error 1069 - (this service did not start due to login failure.) occurred while performing this service operation on the MSSQLserver service.

Try re-installing Sql and start again m8 :)

and edited the ip's and server name in the db(in LOM2Account DB)?

Ok on that pic instead of click Use a Domain User account click the one above.(Local System account)
then on next screen choose the "sa" and make a password.
