Can this be done? Is it much harder to do (if possible). Do I need to download any specific things for the server setup? etc etc.

wont do, i tried it and afaik so did Leo.

i got most parts working, but i couldnt get the DB server to run and the m2server due to them needing BDE Borland Database and DBC. which are 2 window programes that needs windows to run properly.

you can download a program that allows u to run any windows program (according 2 1 of ma m8's who is a linux freak ¬_¬"

Your think of WINE, the very thing used to run the server components on Linux.

It doesn't run BDE or DBC.

and the new Cengea(sp?) only works for games(making it so DirectX9+ works in linux) but that only works for games, not BDE or DBC

Actually I'm sure a euromir user got it working around 2 years ago. Although I'm almost certain he had the DB/BDE running on a different machine.
