Mir3 pacth.ini information can not be read

I've tried searching for fixes for this error and frankly its doin my head in. I have fixed it before but can't remember how I did it. Basically keep getting this message pop up every time I try to start the client from the loader and its getting annoying, works fine on my xp based pc but get this error on my fiances vista laptop with exact same files. any ideas on how to fix guys?

setup!!.txt change the path to were the mir ini is....

it's the client not server side

if it's client side... can't you grab a client and compare?

See thats the problem, I have done that and can't see where it is going wrong. Works fine on my xp pc but when i copy the files onto my partners vista laptop it brings up that message. Comparing clients isn't reli useful atm as I don't patch through ftp its all manual so the mir3patch.ini message is kinda irrelevant but all the same it stops the loader from loading the game.

do u have the game into C:\programfiles ? i saw vista has some problems with games at least mir beeing there , if u have it there just move it on different partition , if its on different partition allready try right click on the exe u are useing and open it as administrator

Might try that and see if it works, havent had to move it before although usually its in a few subfolders on C:\Program Files so maybe thats why I didn't have this issue before.
