If you receive a phone call and your Mobile phone displays (ACE) on the
screen don't answer the call. END THE CALL IMMEDIATELY. If you answer
the call, your phone will be infected by a virus. This virus will erase
all IMEI and IMSI information from both your phone and your SIM card,
which will make your phone unable to connect with the telephone Network.
You will have to buy a new phone. This information has been confirmed by
both Motorola and Nokia. There are over 3 million mobile phones being
infected by this virus all around the world. You can also find this
information on the CNN web site. PLEASE FORWARD THIS PIECE OF
INFORMATION TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS WHO HAVE MOBILE PHONES

1: this has NOTHING to do with mir
2: this has been doing the rounds for years and years and is FAKE
the only mobile virus that are out there are bluetooth virus and afaik there is only 2 of them that only work on sysbem OS phones

afaik there is no way that a virus can install itself on a phone by way of a voice call

and BH there are numerous virus for Symbian Phones however very few of them can permantly damage your phone and can only infect you if you manually install em So unless your stupid enough to install something you dont know about or accept a file from someone you dont know Then your safe

Then keep up with the latest Symbian News there are quite a few virues and 3 anti-virus apps

The ledu client works fine on other characters just not the gms which makes me think its the bustersword graphic thats corrupt

Fine if you wanna get bluejacked or worse BUT as a great person once said Me tbh its not really the nokia phones that are crap its the mentality of the majority scum users that nokia are aiming for, makeing lots of generic phones anc connong them to buy phones for specific uses only. The virus is spreading soo fast because all the makers have to do is name a sis file Loads of porn pictures or 1001 games Or the classic sweety the chick (when it should be a 3gp file come on), or something like that and they get sucked in

I have a 6600 that i use for testing only and the ammount of times i have had to flash the phone because i have been testing sis files is stupid but its the only way i can test files before i pass em on to my m8s

Its called a virus scanner or not being stupid enough to download sis files from a source you dont trust

Ill take a Nokia phone over another anyday

The only reason the bluetooth virus spreads is because people are stupid enough to leave bluetooth on 24/7 Thats hardly nokias fault now is it..
